Review Joe's Sushi - Lakewood

This place is a hidden gem. Efficient, friendly, and fantastic service. Our rolls came out within 5 minutes of ordering. They were flavorful, seasoned well, and plated with precision. This is a great place to come for a date, a friendly gathering or even to host out of town guests!

I love this spot and have been here many times with friends though it gets really crowded, I went with my partner on Friday night for dinner and they were so full they really couldn't take us which was unfortunate so we ended up going to Ozen sushi which is open till midnight instead.

Always a delight. You get what you pay for, and then some here!! Few places make my go to list. This is one of them!

Our go to place for Sushi! Outside it's a little sketchy looking but inside is a authentic. They have all-you-can-eat which is great! For lunch we try to make it in for their happy hour buy one get one free sushi rolls!

I usually love this place however not anymore. Went last night and found a bug on my food and when I told the waiter he didn't say anything at first just takes the bug off the plate and leaves comes back and tell me we can take a drink. We only had one drink with the order. Never apologized or even acknowledged the situation.Very disappointed been coming for years.

The Korean lady that works there was the best! Fast and amazing service! It was my first time doing a Korean birthday shot and I truly enjoyed it! I will definitely come back in the future with my family. We were all satisfied!

Really fresh, very yummy, especially the salmon. Terrific service makes Joe's a favorite for date night adventures.

This place went from 5 to zero...ZERO...terrible servers and service....food was fair...not quite at temperature...the chefs are great but the crappy servers made it a Sushi crap hole.... We ordered a crunch roll for appetizer then a three item combo with miso soup...the idiot server brings me a bowl of warm tempura sauce...then that's it!!! No soup no ginger or wasabi...The guy brings everything at once!!! Then never comes back...he runs around talking to the chefs and hardly comes out... I had to ask for utensils...a soup spoon, two drinks...he focused on the guys for the all you can eat deal...so we ate what we could and asked a different server for a container to go...idiot never came back...their stupid music choice was laughable...too loud and for a family setting hearing rappers chime about killing niggas and bitches...really??? Really?? It is too bad but this place used to be great..forget this Joe's Sushi!! Go to 7-11 for a sushi pack or even Panda Express and get better service (self service!!!)and better food!!!

Almost 1 hour wait for 5 of us. Don't get me wrong the food is wonderful. But they impose an 18% gratuity on 5 people?? Really? My $26 all you can eat went to $45 with a $9 bottle of cold sake. They shouldn't do this to such small parties. I talked to the owner and he didn't care. I don't recommend it for parties of 5 or more!!

Service was ok food was good would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for sushi 🍣👍🏾

Awesome quiet spot.. Servers were great. Food was delicious. Positive environment. I live an hour an half away and was in town for knotts berry farm. I had been craving sushi and this was the first spot to pop up.. Perfect choice will definitely drive back to eat here again..���� best sushi I have had in a while.

Wow. Best deal in town. Super fresh and super delicious. What a great find. All you can drink beer too for $13.95. I will be there often. Thanks Holly for introducing me to this great place

We had great service and lots of yummy food. We came with two small children and the staff was wonderful accommodating special food requests. Great experience

I can never get enough of Joe's Sushi! The South is currently my favorite roll, but they have cooked options too for those who don't do raw.

Place does not look so nice from the outside. Restaurant is nice and ckean. Sushi and the service was great. This place is a treat!

Service was lousy! We waited forever for the server to bring our food, on top of it all, they brought the kids food 20 minutes later!!! Miso soup was delivered after the dinner and edamame served after everything... ALL BAD, ALL BACKWARDS! Only reason why we stayed was, it was my daughter's Bday!

Their eel is amazing!! I recommend this place 9/10 times!

Food is great. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. We use to go every month but now we go every week. The waiter Chris is very attentive and makes you feel at home.
