Review Five Guys - Lakewood

Five Guys is good. Really good, actually. But is it $35.00 for two people fast food good? I dunno.... quite frankly there are other fast burger places that are just as good (or better) for less money. Think Jim's, Grandpa's, or Crown. Or even old school Griff's (RIP). Regardless, I'm still going to eat there, when the aforementioned isn't convenient. I mean, the food is good. I really just wanted to complain about the prices.

Fast, fresh, good. We got a veggie sandwich and a burger with all fixings- messy and delicious. We split a small fry and shake, so it was a very filling meal.

Finally tried this place for the first time and definitely not impressed. Way too expensive. 11 or 12 dollars for a bacon cheeseburger and got home to discover they didn't even put any bacon on it. Also, why wrap the burger in aluminum foil? Took me about 30 mins to drive home and when I unwrapped it parts of the bun were already so wet and soggy it was ridiculous.

I placed an order online and was told it would be ready 8 minutes after ordering, so I knew that probably meant it would take longer than that. I completed the text prompts that ask you to let Five Guys know when you are on your way and when you have arrived. I went into the store before the 8 minutes was up and was acknowledged by several employees by name, and I believed that my fries were made at that time. I was given my shake soon thereafter. Then I proceeded to wait about 20 minutes, during which time I saw multiple customers receive their orders. When I went up to the pick-up counter a different employee than before asked for my name. I told her, she saw the bag that had my burgers in it (I have NO idea how long those had been sitting there) and then proceeded to make my one order of fries, and tried to give me ANOTHER shake. I am upset by this experience because I was in the restaurant the entire time that I thought my order was being made just to find out it actually wasn't being made. I only ordered a few items.

Got charged 35 dollars for two hamburgers after a 12 work day to get home to see my reciept. They upcharged us for double patties. 35 dollars for two hamburgers and an order of fries. I should have been paying attention but it's not my job to work their register. I'll be back tomorrow for my refund.

Their food has always been great, but their price is now out of control. I can eat at a sit down restaurant for the same price as it costs at 5 guys... I'll miss your fries and freshly grilled burgers, but I just have to move on...

The cook Touched his phone, with his gloves, then touched are burgers. They were rude, and everything thing was very dirty. No hats or hair nets. Please go to another location. I fee gross after going there And I never feel like that. So that says something.

Great Burgers. Who can resist Cajun fries! All served quickly by very friendly staff. Highly recommend

The burgers are good but rather pricey. Hot dog is large but greasy. I will eat here again but not often.

I wanted light well fries and was told I couldn't have it because that's not how they cook they're fries. I don't like soft/limp fries. Burgers are overpriced. Messed up my milkshake as well. Don't know if it was an off night for them even though there were only 5 tables occupied.

Over priced & wasn't that good.. that's just me..
