Review Tott - Lakewood

We visit Tott's at least every few months. It's usually a five star but I think they're still getting back on their feet from the hard times caused by the pandemic. The restaurant was cold, and the dining room wasn't completely back to normal. We tried an appetizer that’s new to the menu – Golden Eggplant (sliced Asian eggplant deep fried. Served with peanut sauce.) It was very doughy and soggy, and I didn’t care for the peanut sauce. We should’ve stuck to the crispy spring rolls which are always good. We couldn't decide between Sesame chicken or Sesame shrimp, so we ordered both! I think the shrimp version is better. One plate was ordered with the brown rice option and the other the fried rice option. Both rice were very good. Both plates come with a mixture of Bok choy, broccoli, zucchini, celery and carrot vegetables. I think you can order the heat level as you wish and we forgot so the default is no heat. I added Sriracha to get some heat. The hot green tea was very hot and tasty. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff is friendly.

Sometimes this place can be more than decent but more often than not it is just not good. The drunken noodles when they are good are perfectly chewy with a sweet and anise spiced chili sauce but when it’s bad the noodles taste old and hard and the sauce is oily and oddly salty. Mongolian beef when it’s good is what you’d expect but it usually tastes like raw onions and warmed up old beef. Not a good place to order from. Consistency is key.

I live nearby and sometimes I dine in, and others I have it delivered. The owner is always is happy to see me and remembers what I ordered last time. The food and service are always excellent. My favorite entrée is the sesame chicken and I always order extra broccoli because it is good! The delivery drivers have a smile on their face when they arrive and are grateful for my business. This is my favorite restaurant to dine in or order out, and I highly recommend them!

A staple restaurant to the local area! We've been eating and ordering from here for years~ Ordering over the phone is easy and delivery is very fast, it's impressive! Dining in is fun too, interior has a classy 90s vibe to it~ Extensive menu with lots of options to try; the Drunken Noodles and Hot and Sour Soup are my favorites!

Food was good but I will not be returning due to the rude delivery driver. I received a flyer that said free delivery and I only live 3 miles away from the restaurant. When I went to pay online and they added on a delivery fee. I tipped on top of that. The delivery driver knocked on my door and when I went to answer it he ran off very fast. He left a rude note with sharpie on my to go bag that said the mileage from the restaurant (which was wrong) and to tip more next time. If he wouldn’t have ran off I would have given him more in cash.

Yuck.... We were so excited to try a new Asian restaurant in our new neighborhood. The food was so bad we threw it out. We ordered drunken noodles,Mongolian beef, egg rolls and pot stickers. We literally took a bite of each thing and threw it out. It wasn't cheap either $45 for all of it. The meat was soggy and tasteless. Such bad quality of food, and my stomach is torn up today. Go up the street to Szcheshwan much better and same price. This place needs help/ or an inspection.

I love this place! It's been a staple in Lakewood for well over a decade at this point because the quality has remained great. Delivery is almost always super fast and the food is amazing.

2021 edit: I am so glad they survived the COVID lockdowns. This is a GEM and must be supported. To me, TOTT is the epitome of a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Amazing food, quick, attentive service, great prices. In all of my travels, this is my gold standard of local restaurants. I rarely find one as good, fast and quality as TOTT. It's still on my phone, and still the first place I want to eat at when I return to the Denver area. Top notch! _______________ I have eaten here almost once a paycheck for over 12 years. Outstanding food, and ultra-quick service. This is a true hidden treasure. Try it! But beware if you drink any water, they will fill your glass in seconds! For takeout, I have them on speed dial. I call them from the office parking lot, and it is bagged and ready when I get there 10 minutes later.

I had the Vietnamese noodle bowl. It was had huge portion, and VERY good! I would recommend Tott.😊

Absolutely amazing Thai food! A must have and great for family dining!

We visited the restaurant as we got a flyer menu in the mail. The food was good! It tasted even better the next day! Service was excellent. Sorry to hear people did not have a good experience this is a good little restaurant.

I love this grill and all the people who work there. Have been going there since they first opened!

HORRIBLE! absolutely the WORST delivery service i have ever experienced in my life. The food was ordered on a Monday night at 7 pm. It didn't arrive until almost 9pm. Our order was wrong and the driver told us that he had to go to another order before he could bring us our original order. We drove to the restaurant to return the wrong order, and ask for our money back, and they offered to pay me back half. After arguing for a few minutes, we got our money back. The food that we did get was cold and mediocre. we will never order from this restaurant again and do not recommend it to anyone else.
