Service was great and the food was out fast. The food was delicious and portions large. I had the 3 combination dinner and was more food than I could eat. The wife was unable to finish her burrito. The prices on some items leaned toward the high end and is the only reason it's not getting a 5.

Good atmosphere, generous portions, delicious flavors, gigantic menu with so many choices you'll definitely find something to satisfy your Mexican food fix.
It's up there, top three choice in Denver for Mexican.
On this visit, I had the mojarra dish;actually, more like a platter. A whole, deep fried ~10 inch meaty fish cooked to perfection with crispy skin and moist, juicy white meat. It cames with rice, beans, and choice of tortillas.

Well, they were wrong...
It deserves an even higher rating!
I had the pork shank in Mole and it was wonderful -- perfectly done, tender and juicy. The mole was flavorful and rich without overpowering.
If you're in the area, I recommend that you give them a try. Get there early, because plenty of locals know about El Tequileno too.

The service was friendly & fast paced. The food was tasty and came in HUGE portions. Everything was very reasonably priced. They have an incredibly extensive tequila menu. Their alcoholic beverage variety was awesome. They were also very sizeable. Their margaritas were huge. My Paloma came in the cutest terra cotta cup! Definitely recommend!

I have been with my family, so three people and two kids, we all order meals and drinks.

Very good food and drinks. Highly recommend - if you just got paid and have some extra dough. As good as the food and staff is, it's very expensive. I enjoyed my visit but not the bill - it was almost $100 after tip for 2 people and only 1 marg worth of drinks. Please lower prices and I'll be back cuz the food was legit

Maaaaan. This is so GOOD. Big portions. Fair priced. Delicious meals. Worth it. There is good parking, nice atmosphere, and great service. Highly recommend.
