Amazing panoramic views! Great service! And one of the best prime rib dinners I've ever had! Menu is extensive and varietal. Indoor and outdoor seating. Just passing through but wish we could go back!
Went to Simms for a happy hour date with my wife. As many have mentioned the view was really special and lovely. We sat on the deck and had pretty good service. The happy hour food was nothing that wowed me but it was fairly tasty for the price. We tried each option. The calamari was the best tasting of the options with some tasty sauce and well fried. The sliders were a bit underwhelming to be honest. The drinks were fairly unique in flavor combinations but I find myself struggling to remember them specifically. The jalapeño margarita was probably my favorite. We ended the night with a cheesecake which was probably the best thing we ate. It was decadent and rich and capped the meal perfectly. I have a feeling the food might be better for a full meal service. It was above average for happy hour but nothing spectacular.

Me and my fiance got engaged yesterday, and we decided to go to a steakhouse for dinner to celebrate. I made reservations for us online the same day, and they got us a very nice seat on the patio immediately even though we showed up a bit early for our reservation.
The first thing we noticed was how spectacular the view is! You get a panoramic of downtown Denver and the surrounding area. Our waitress was great as well, she was fast and attentive all night. She even took a few pictures of us with the skyline in the background, and gave us each a glass of champagne on the house to celebrate!
As for the most important part: the food. My fiance got the crab cake dinner and loved it. She also got a mojito that she really enjoyed. I got the bone-in ribeye steak, and it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. We also split a slice of chocolate cake at the end of the meal. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Thank you Simms Steakhouse for helping to make an already unforgettable day for us even more special. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion.
Visiting my daughter from out of town for Thanksgiving. Simms had a holiday buffet. We spent 2 hours eating a fabulous meal. The view was spectacular. The staff were most attentive and courteous. The whole experience was one to appreciate and remember.
I was so impressed by Simms! We hosted a buffet brunch baby shower on a Saturday morning for about 40 people. The staff was absolutely incredible & attentive. The food was delicious; everyone loved it. A couple family members are gluten free & they accommodated this with no issue. The City View Room was the perfect location for our event, with beautiful views & elbow room with the exterior patio. I wouldn't hesitate to host another event here! Thank you to Mark & the entire staff!
EXCELLENT service and fantastic happy hour plates and drinks. We came to enjoy the patio and were wowed by the view, the fantastic friendly service, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back for brunch and wine Wednesdays!!

If you are planning a date you NEED to come here. It is perfect for that.
But it’s also nice how laid back it is. Many tables were groups of friends dressed down in sweatshirts, so it really is the perfect dinner place for everyone. This place is just good period. Not trying to be too cool and tense like a lot of places downtown.
Great atmosphere and food! Seems like the staffing was a bit short handed, but they did the best they could. Lobster bisque was super tasty. We will be returning when the weather is a bit warmer to sit on the deck, it looked extra dreamy out there. Their cocktails are also on point!
