Out of the 37 years I've lived in Lakeland and have always seen this place I just recently went there for the first time with a coworker.
Prices were decent and the food was too. As cool as the guy was I felt bad for him because he was sweating, so made sure to savor that food in his honor.

Ribs were tender and flavorful. Barbecue sauce had just the right tang to it. Potato salad was yellow and wonderful just as I had hoped for. Can't wait to go back on a Friday and try their brisket.

This little place reminds me of the places I went to as a kid in my family’s farm town. Best spot around for a good bbq sandwich and at a fair price. Only 2 miles from a park which makes a nice place to sit and eat with nature. If you hungry and close come on down to this place don’t look anywhere else. You just found lunch!

Every Friday is on my calendar for a trip to BBQ Shack for the best Brisket in town. Now I don't always make it, but whenever I get there, I'll load up on meals to surprise everyone at home. Ribs, Pork & Chicken with sides of Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Coleslaw are their main sellers so "Get Your Pork On".

Excellent! Both ribs and pulled pork are tender, juicy and fall off the bone delicious!!! We just moved to Florida and this will be our monthly rib/pork place to go to.

The place ain’t much to look at but worth the trip for the food and value.
