I've been wanting to stop by there on fish fry night for a while. Finally had a Friday evening off and made the trip down there from Davenport. I brought my pop's with me since he loves fish and is also an American Legion member in Winterhaven.. The fish was great and the little band was also good. We will be back..

Very friendly post. They offer food 2 nights per week and have music on those nights. They bought a warehouse and are in the process of refurbishing it. The bar is very nice. They have the capacity for large functions. They also have to aircraft similators which can be rented with advance notice. We are definetly gong back to try those out. Bathrooms are very clean.

The post is amazing. Both my husband and I are Legionnaires and being our first visit my husband and I were given a tour of the facilities. We met the Post Commander and he welcomed us. The staff and other patrons were friendly. From what I learned on our tour (by way of golf cart), this post is doing a lot for the veterans. Kudos.

I transferred from another Legion Post to Post 71 recently and felt very welcomed by Commander his wife and all the other members I met..I learned it's the biggest American Legion in the world..I am a proud member of American Legion and have been for 26 years
I look forward to many good times at Post 71 and want to help it complete mission.There is a lot going on there. My wife Suzanne and daughter Julie will be transferring also to the American Legion Auxiliary
