The service was amazing. The manager Latifah and our Waitress Christine are the best!!!! OMG the food was amazing. We had the Catfish with hushpuppies & Chicken Parm. Kids had the Hotdogs and Spaghetti & Meatballs. Yum!!!

I was pleasantly shocked at the food and service we received from City Star Family Restaurant.
You know these small sun-down towns could be a hit or miss and scary sometimes. However, this one was actually pretty good.

Very nice place, the food was very good and the portions were huge. We had enough for the next day. The service was great. Our server was very polite and attentive.
Visited today for the first time. All the staff was friendly and our food came very quickly. I ordered two eggs with country fried steak and it was very good. 50's/60's style atmosphere. Would go again.
My wife and I had a great dinner here. Great atmosphere and excellent service. We both had the special, beef ravioli with salad and garlic bread. It was very good and prices were fair. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. We spoke with the owner as we were leaving and thanked him for the meal

Great catfish! Fresh food! The fried squash was amazing. Service was on point. HOWEVER, don’t ask for substitutions cause the chef was pretty angry and vocal about it. All they had to say was “I’m sorry we can’t do that”? Other than that it was a great place to eat while in Lake Wales.

Great little restaurant, We stoped in on a Saturday morning and had breakfast, Kathy was our Server for our breakfast ,super sweet lady , very friendly place ,great food .Need to try them out for dinner ..Cheap $3.50 breakfast ...Can't be it any where else
This place is great! Proportions are Hugh. Food is very tasty. Best chicken parmesan I ever had. (Garlic toast no good) waitress have always been good and intentive.
Passing through Lake Wales we were looking for a good place to stop for lunch. So glad we chose City Star. Our food was delicious. We were the first to try the new fried apple pie. Wonderful dessert! The service was friendly and efficient. We will be coming back soon.
