Authentic. Clean. Chef literally was finishing cooking up the tamales as we ordered lunches and sangrias. We brought home 1/2 dozen tamales to try for Christmas Day tomorrow. Salsa was super fresh and the guac was excellent!

I wanted something different and remembered I'd passed this restaurant numerous times over the years. I decided to visit and wasn't disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I don't have much experience with authentic Mexican food so I can't compare it to any other restaurant, I just know it was good. The salsa was amazing. It was very fresh. I had the create you own combo and selected a shredded beef enchilada with green sauce, a soft beef taco and chicken quesadilla. It came with rice and beans. If you are looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. But if you want a casual family style restaurant with great Mexican food and vibe, this is the place. I can't wait to come again. and honestly can see myself stopping by to puck up a container of salsa to go.
Met friends for lunch and the food was delicious. It is nice to have a really good Mexican restaurant in Lake Wales. Our server was really good. I believe a large party came in right before us so the service was a bit slower than what I've experienced in the past.
Found this hidden gem wandering around Lake Wales trying to find somewhere to eat for dinner. The food is delicious, fresh and authentic. Our server was so friendly and we really enjoyed our dinner. The guacamole is the best I have ever had in my life! I will glad drive out of way to eat here.
Service and food were both really good. Waiter, cook got my husband's order wrong, but they redid it in record time. My burrito was cool in the middle. Would have liked it hot through out. Overall, an OK experience. Would go there again.
I love this place. Very quaint, cozy and most of all clean. Service is great and the food is awesome. I absolutely love their steak tacos as well as their grilled chicken breast. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Lake Wales that’s also healthy

Awesome small town Mexican restaurant in lake wales, everything we ordered was prepared fresh, will continue eating there. Guacamole was amazing, super burrito with steak was great, kids all enjoyed their meals as well. We have gotten takeout as well as dine in, both were great. Dining room is kinda small but we have never had a long wait.
Outstanding authentic Mexican tamales and other great dishes in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient. Salsa is homeade and yummy! This place is a Lake Wales best kept secret! Try it and your palate will thank you.
The owner, an awesome individual. The food was great! Freshly made with fresh ingredients. I have it a 4 Star because the service was slow. They ran a skeleton crew so we had to wait for everything, but we didn’t mind. The food and friendly service made up for it. I will be coming back for sure!!
