Review Blue Palmetto Cafe - Lake Wales

The Blue Palmetto Café near the entrance to Bok Tower Gardens was a pleasant surprise! Extremely clean, very conveniently located, and well-run. There was a good variety of menu choices, including some adult beverages! All of our items were freshly prepared and delicious! Prices were reasonable, too. There is ample seating inside and out! Highly recommended!

Good, fresh food at decent prices. The Vegan Cobb Salad was great! (Especially the vegan bacon & green goddess dressing.) Next time I'll see if they have to-go packaging so I can eat behind the tower and enjoy the view.

Wow! Quite possibly the best smoked salmon blt I have ever had. The sandwich alone is worth the cost of getting a membership to Bok Tower Gardens just so you can go in and eat this meal and get a discount on it to boot. The avocado BLT was excellent as well and don't waste getting chips with your meal, pony up the extra few dollars and get the chips and salsa or really go big and get the chips, salsa and guacamole. Excellent all the was around.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food that I had here. The Avocado BLT was excellent. You can bring your dog here too!

An amazing cafe located in the confines of Bok Tower Gardens. This means admission is needed to access this eatery. Locally grown goods can be purchased here also including honey and wine! The salads we got were miraculous and full of flavor. Definitely will return to try other options. Staff here were extremely pleasant and nice to talk to. it was also very clean and taken care of.

This place was excellent! There were four of us, and we each got a different item on the menu. Everything was served perfectly as ordered and came out looking like a TV commercial. It was beautiful! And it wasn’t just our food, every meal I saw being served looked delicious! And it was, absolutely delicious. You can tell they really care about their quality and service. Outdoor seating available complete with umbrellas to keep you cool in the shade.

Bok Towers and its customers have benifited from having this great food venue on site. The Blue Palmetto provides high quality healthy food options with consistency and care. They also have amazing cookies, trail ice cream, beer, wine if you are trying to misbehave on your venture out to the Towers. When you visit the Blue Palmetto is located adjacent from the museum and gift shop. Entering the restaraunt, you will stand in line, order, pay and sit down at table either inside or outside on the patio adjacent to the gardens. If you are planning a trip to the towers you must stop at this hidden treasure.

A good food option on property at Bok Tower. It was very busy and it did take a minute to get through it, but staff was very nice at the register. They had a variety of options for both meals and snacks, depending on what you are interested in. The seating area is busy and you may need to wait for a spot if it's a weekend prime time. The outside area is mostly covered which is a nice break from a sunny day. Overall: A Solid food option in the Bok Tower Gardens. It can get busy, so be ready for a wait if it's peak time.

Bok Gardens & Blue Palmetto Cafe was the perfect spot for a reunion with my former Development Assoc. at the Guthrie Theater back in the '80's. The food was truly delicious and a woman at a nearby table sensing a 36 year reunion graciously offered to take a picture without being asked.

Great cafe inside the Bok towers. Food is fresh and healthy. They offer a wide range of food. There's also drinks available. They sell these High Noon alcohol seltzers that was refreshing. There's seating inside and out.

Lovely little Cafe. Friendly and helpful employees. Had the ice cream and lemonade. Very refreshing.

Food is remarkably good and a wonderful place to fuel up before walking the Bok Tower nature trails.

A little high on the price, we only bought a bagel and an orange juice and it was a lot more than we expected. Smart on their side though, because you definitely need something to drink after walking through the beautiful garden.
