Finally found the most authentic Mexican food in Lake Villa! My go to dish is the pico de gallo talapia ๐Ÿ˜‹ The tacos are sooo tasty too! And the biscuits and gravy are excellent! The margarita on the rocks ๐Ÿ‘Œ super tasty! Love this place! Perfect for family night out. If youโ€™re looking for a high quality and authentic Mexican restaurant, you definitely have to try this place ๐Ÿ˜‹

A hidden gem in Lake Villa. Everything is very authentic and the food is prepared with care. I've felt extremely welcome both times coming in now. The atmosphere is comfortable without catering to people scared of a little culture. The red hot salsa is a great addition to spice up your food. The Victoria is fresh. I love this place!

I was beyond impressed with the enchiladas dinner and chips/salsa I ordered. I eat Mexican food often. And, after my first visit here, this restaurant has instantly become a favorite. Beyond the food quality, I was so pleased with how friendly, genuine, and grateful the staff was. Looking forward to dining again!

Good people good food and portions always big enough I'm taking something home for tomorrow. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. As you can see in the picture we tried a little bit of everything tonight and We're very happy. Even the fish fry at a Mexican restaurant was worth coming back for

Ever since my first time at El Paso I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. The staff has always been helpful and the food delicious. This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever had the opportunity to eat at. Would highly recommend trying their chicken quesadilla but that's just one of their many great dishes. Everyone should try eating at El Paso. Even if your not into Mexican they also serve fish, burgers, and sandwiches so there's options for everyone.

I would share a picture but the food looked way too delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ I couldn't resist to eat it. This restaurant brought me back home, I remember my dad taking me to a fonda. (Fondas are this little kitchens where mothers and grandmothers share Mexico's most traditional flavors for generations) This is that place. Being from Mexico, I've been searching for authentic Guerrero Mexican food in Lake County; this place is as authentic as you will find so far. Guerrero is north of Oaxaca, and if you know Rick Bayless, most of his recipes come from Oaxaca. Oaxaca and Guerrero's cooking are very similar. Don't come looking for the fancy ambiance; instead come for the flavorful food. My husband's suggestion is the meat could be more tender, since it was a little tough, but it could have been a one-off. We would gladly return again!

Love this place with all my heart. Anita and Ana are THE BEST. Treated like family every time I order and walk in through the door. Never feeling rushed, always attentive, seriously amazing food.
