Denny's

The service was great, 👍🏼😁 clean seats and tables 👍🏼 , my waitress named Levon 😁who served me was the best 🤩🎉 and provided me with the service beyond my expectations, we need more waitresses and waiters like you 👍🏼👏 my steak 🥩 was cooked perfectly 👍🏼 and a skillet was delicious 😋, I definitely do recommend this location of Denny’s ✅ local guide approved✅. The issues I had while there was the service and food. The lady who took care of us was great, but you had other people trying to jump in and do what she's already done. The manager was very rude and the actual server was very late to our table. The other hostess we had was amazing though. Very kind polite and did a fantastic job. My 2nd issue I have is with the food. I ordered boneless chicken wings with BBQ sauce on them. With speaking on that, what I got was not boneless wings but chicken nuggets with a drizzle of BBQ sauce on top. That was my appetizer. My main meal was the chicken and gravy meal. The gravy was burnt and the chicken was well overcooked. It was extremely had to chew and the burnt taste was no match for my taste buds. Over all the place was clean and my drinks weren't flat so that's a plus, but no where near a 5 star rating. Not even a 3 would fit for them.

Ordered food online. Computer said something went wrong. I checked my bank statement and it was billed, so I called to see if the order had gotten to them. The woman who answered was very rude. When I went to pick up my order, the same woman came out to help me and was again extremely rude. Another waiting customer agreed she'd been rude to him. I'm not sure if she was a hostess, manager or what. I wish I'd gotten her name. I just know she was a white woman with blonde hair, pudgy. Some people need to understand that if it weren't for the customers, they wouldn't have a job. She definitely needs to be trained in proper customer service. The meal was fine (except my husband complained that his ham was very fatty and hard to chew) but she ruined the whole experience with her attitude. Looks like we'll stick with the Merrillville Denny's.

The restaurant’s food was great! The customer service was excellent. We stopped here on our way from Chicago to Michigan. The restaurant followed COVID-19 social distancing guidelines and had customers at distanced tables that were sanitized before and after use. The waitress we had was amazing and so patient with us. My nephew has autism and can have meltdowns pretty frequently but the waitress was understanding and compassionate. My family and I had good food and were full when we left!

Amazing service!! Best Denny's in the area. Food is always fresh and comes out hot and flavorful. The staff here is killing it with great experiences. This is now the only Denny's I go to in the area. Highly recommend this one if your in the mode for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They will take great care of you and you will have an awesome tasty meal!!
