Maple milkshake was so so good! It was creamy with the slightly sweet maple taste. Loved it. Also tried a passion fruit drink and a hot cocoa. My only complain is hot cocoa was not that hot. But it tasted great!
They take only a limited number of people inside due to social distancing. But the line goes fast.
Stopped in with my wife for a cone. First time here. Didn't see much hard ice cream that looked good to me. Went with the chocolate moose bits. A nice lady there said it was the best and I'd love it. I told her we'll see what I think when I post this review. Turns out she was right. Five star ice cream and waffle cone. My wife had the sugar cone with brown butter bourbon ice cream and she loved it. We both went back the next day for another. If you are in Lake Placid you really should try Emma's.

This place is delicious! They have super cute gift items too. Will definitely visit on a daily basis our next time in Lake Placid.
My wife and I were visiting Lake Placid for the weekend. We were walking down the main street after dinner and noticed a line at Emma’s that went several doors down. We thought the ice cream must be worth the wait, and got in line. The line moved quickly, and we each ended up with a delicious milkshake. It was so good, we went back again the next day.
I really appreciated how they took extra precaution during the pandemic to protect everyone, especially their employees. I got the brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream. It was delicious overall. However, the brown butter flavor was minimal. Will go back to try other flavors though.
Caramel cheesecake ice cream was to die for!!! My friend got a chocolate brownie bourbon ice cream and loved hers too! A little bit of a wait because they were so popular. They were very efficient, though, and it was definitely worth the wait. Great service!
