Ordered takeout, so please note that my feedback is based on that. The restaurant is small inside but everyone is very friendly. Ordered Carne asada tacos and switched corn shells to flour to make the takeout trip. Also ordered queso and chips (kryptonite).
Holy cow! There was SO MUCH meat stuffed in these three tacos I could barely finish them! They had onions, cilantro and green salsa as well as a red chili sauce. Spicy but not miserable hot - great flavor and the meat was delightful, not fatty or overcooked like most. Their table salsa is also very flavorful- great for cilantro lovers! Will be back!
I really enjoyed everything about this place. The food was well prepared and delicious. I like that they served it on fiestaware. The service was also really friendly and my frozen strawberry margarita was so good!
Our first time at this location. It was super busy, so we had to wait for a table. The atmosphere isn’t the coziest, it’s one big room with high ceilings and only a few booths, otherwise just tables set in rows. Service was good. But the food!!! Chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve had! We ordered carne asada tacos, a chicken tamale, and a burrito. Each item was the best of its kind that I’ve had in central MO! Will be back, and will tell our friends how good it is!
Stumbled on this place accidentally. I was very pleased with food quality and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely recommend if you looking for a tasty lunch.
Legit, some of the best street tacos I've ever had.
The chicken was grilled. Seasoned and bountiful.
The Verde salsa that adorned the taco, was great. Lovely balanced heat. Played nicely with the meat.
The tortillas, I think, we're handmade. There's no way to go wrong with that.
The man working the register, is friendly and warm. He wants you to love his restaurant.

My cousin and I came from KCMO and was trying to find some good Mexican food. We found Sergio's on line. We drove and found a small quaint restaurant. Felt very comfortable going in. The thin chips (our favorite kind) and salsa were yummy. I had the chicken chimichanga rice and beans. Very impressed. Chicken was very flavorful. The guacamole was excellent. Rice was good and the beans had a great flavor and seasoning. We both liked them. She ordered steak burrito and it was very well seasoned. We also had some queso. Another item that was really good. Our host was super nice and so was our waiter. We didn't wait long to be seated or get our food. They were really busy and everyone was pleasant. Can't wait to come back again.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS NEW FIND!!! Excellent service , food was Aaaaahhmazing !!!!!!! Fiancé birthday trip and brother in laws first time and we found this place . The atmosphere was all there! Even the chairs , tables and painting are all things that would keep your interest! 11/10 would recommend! Food was so soo good 😍🥰 . Safe to say we’ll be back ! Thanks Mateo for everything !!!
Loved the food, very authentic. One thing I noticed was they gave each person their own salsa plate which I liked. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced.

This place is a family favorite! Fast service and good food is always a good business plan. They sometimes have a wait on busier weekends but they do a great job of minimizing the wait time.
This Sergio's has the best food by far but the one server is the worst. We will be visiting other locations from here on. We've had him the last 4 visit never checks on table untill food is gone doesn't refill chips or salsa.
Just the best food. Has my all time favorite dish. Seafood fajitas. So good highly recommend. Have to stop every time I'm in town.
Me and a friend rolled into town and needed som good food to start off our vacation. The service and food were great, the margaritas were strong, and the location was convenient. My only confusion came when waiting for a table. I didn’t know we were supposed to sign in ourselves but other than that very small confusion, it was great! Definitely plan on coming back here my next trip to the lake.

I especially like the Al Pastor, Chorizo, and Carnitas Tacos.

What a terrific Mexican restaurant! Their tortilla chips seem to be home made and are great. They are thin, crisp, light & tasty. Each person gets their own dish of salsa, which is also very tasty. Between the nine of us we ordered a multitude of dishes and each of them were amazing according to my family. I had the El Jefe burrito. It was huge! Stuffed with steak, chicken and shrimp. Three fourths of the burrito was covered in their queso blanco and the remaining fourth was covered in a medium heat red sauce. Plan on taking some home if you don’t have a big appetite. The staff has to be one of the hardest working wait staff I have ever seen. Friendly, efficient and oh so busy! Despite running all over the restaurant, they were attentive & provided excellent service. All in all, a fabulous restaurant! The only flaw was they have way more customers than their space can handle. But the wait for a party of nine was still only 15 minutes and well worth waiting for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food. Ordered the breakfast special burrito and oh my lord. Not only was it delicious but it was HUGE. Chips and salsa were phenomenal as well. Keep up the good work!! Loved this place!!
Has all the typical Mexican food options. Quick service. The place was packed on a Monday evening. Not a place to go if your afraid of covid as tables are close together and it seems to be pretty busy.
The food was great and the service was outstanding. This place was PACKED with people and even though it took a bit to get seated, the servers were attentive and did an awesome job! We'll definitely be going back!
