The food was nice, nothing in particular stood out. The prices were average and the portions were generous. We had the nicest server, great attitude, wish I got his name. The place itself is real nice, we loved the chicken related decor, felt real homey too.

Nice Monday brunch. Our server Karyn was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was so delicious. Such a great atmosphere and very relaxing, especially on a Monday, off peak hours when they are not overwhelmed over the weekend.

It turned out to be an excellent place to have breakfast/lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while. Staff did not hustle us out when the meal was finished. Friendly sevice. Extensive menu. Parking was limited. It's in a busy business area on a well-traveled street. Food was okay--not exciting but not bad. I wouldn't return for the food, but I would return for a clean, centralized meeting place.

My Stepmother was in from Charlotte, NC. We have four kids, my wife and myself. We wanted a guaranteed great breakfast today. Unanimous decision. Egg Harbor Cafe in Lane Forest! We were seated promptly, ran into some friends as we sat down and had the best server of all in Cesar! He is so attentive to his customers needs, super knowledgeable about the menu and has an overall wonderful personality. We have two kids and myself with gluten issues and the menu really has the best options around. We all loved the coffee, food and overall experience.

Came in for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed with the food, the service was decent, and the environment was wonderful. My rule of thumb before I eat at any restaurant is to: A. Walk in knowing what they're known for B.always order one of the specials C. Try every part of my food individually before I eat the dish as a whole I ordered one of the skillets from the special, and let me tell you, the potatoes were amazing by thenselves, the sausage had a great and robust flavor, the way they chose to melt the cheese and bacon bits together on top was mouth watering, and my over hard egg held everything together nicely so I had a little bit of it all in every bite. I wouldn't say "don't go here for lunch" but their breakfast menu is to die for. Which is what I heard through word of mouth and what I found when looking into this place. I also tried their peanut butter coffee, which was very good, and the strawberry mimosa, which although I would have liked without pulp, was delicious nonetheless. Overall: food was great in every individual facet, the beverages brought a lot of flavor and pleasant aroma with them to the table, and the environment was cozy; on top of that, the food came out very fast even with a moderate crowd in the restaurant. Over all very professional and very quick service. Would make my top recommendations.

I give this location a 4 simply because service was so,so, the food was a bit pricier than I normally go for, and the mens bathroom is incredibly small. If one wasn't watching they might get hit by the door when someone walks in. The food though average to me was presented exquisitely, see my uploaded photo of the club sandwich I bought. I have a feeling it is more of a breakfast place than lunch.
