Lake Elmo Inn

We ordered the brunch box, for four. We could not have been please any more than the quality and they amount of food. We did order 4 of the Brunch Boxes and there was enough food for Brunch and Dinner. The staff was wonderful to work with and pick up was smooth and quick. Thank you John Schultz for the effort!! Looking forward to this experience again!!

Rare that we award five stars to any restaurant. Today's lunch was simply excellent. Our reservation through Open Table was jumbled a bit between the online reservation and restaurant staff but the Inn was quick to make certain things were corrected. We had a corner table in the bar and the bar tender/waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and very prompt with service. The food is creative and simply put; very good. Everything appears to be fresh and made on premises. Baked goods were all very good as was the impressive assortment of desserts that change daily. We dine out often, and the Lake Elmo Inn appears to understand why it is that people dine out; excellent food with matching service.

This place is amazing! We were looking for a place to celebrate my graduation and I’m so glad we went here. We sat out on the 4 season porch which was so pretty and bright. The food was incredible, all of us loved what we had! I had the squash ravioli and definitely want to go back again for it. Drinks took a little long to receive but other than that we were very impressed and will definitely be back!

Just had a wonderful meal at the lake Elmo inn. Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating while doing a great job of being conscious of social distancing and spacing. As a younger couple it was great to enjoy an upscale restaurant that didn’t have a stuffy or dated feel to it. Spoke with owner and Chef John about an upcoming wedding and was thrilled to hear about his expertise and care with their catering business. Excited to come back and experience the Christmas decorations and meals which sound amazing! A new family tradition even during hard times will be starting.

I was so impressed with our dinner. The only thing that bummed me out was that I did t take pictures to share. We started with the calimari which was good, then they brought out a little sorbet ice cream cone for a pallet cleanser. I ordered the bone in beef tenderloin and it was fantastic. For desert I ordered the apple pecon pie and it was also fantastic. Then to top it all off they brought out a wet cinnamon scented cloth the clean our hands and face with a chocolate covered strawberry to top it off! Service was also excellent! I would highly recommend dinner here!
