I'm not much of a BBQ guy but their BBQ was delicious.
Nice decor, live music in the evening if that's your thing.
Very good choices of beers.
Service was slow but good.
It is a little off the beaten track but definitely worth it.

Over air conditioned in summer, under heated in the winter so bring a sweater.
This road side joint is second to none. Seafood, BBQ, soups and homemade desserts, excellent beer selection. The atmosphere is up beat and quirky and the staff were very friendly and eager to please. Looks like it would be a hot spot on Friday and Saturday nights with the well built outdoor set up. I wish we didn't live 3 hours away. We WILL be returning for sure.
Here is another hidden gem. There are a lot of traditonal items on the menu but all have some really cool twists to them. The roasted oyster appetizer is simply unbelievable. I never considered the ingredients they put together but it worked really well. Everything is super tasty and the staff is very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Food is excellent and the menu leans towards American but with a delicious, imaginative twist! Definitely the right place to be if you're hungry for some BBQ! They serve pizza, have healthy meal options & a seperate children's menu! We noticed what looked like an outside area to dine but we were there in February. The restaurant has a laid back, casual feel. Plenty of parking. Handicap accessible. Restaurant closed Tuesday and Wednesdays. Lots of info on the website!
This is my 3rd time here. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Pizza is great. I got a plate with my appetizer. Brisket is awesome. German menu for Oktoberfest was fantastic!

Weather you're out for a special date gathering with friends or just a quick bite to eat Bongo Roadhouse is a place to go Patty and Buddy will treat you like family and on those special days there is some awesome live music the food is always excellent and even if the place is packed it's not a long wait for your order to make it to you
Good food, great service! So nice to find a restaurant in the area with a menu of different foods, prepared well. I will definitely return next time I visit the area.
Every one was very friendly, all three servers touched the table at some point. The food was amazing, & quick. Great selection of beer.

Good food, wonderful staff. I was having a bad go of things. The owner took the time to help out. That completely changed things for the better. I felt like family.
The best service and menu choices in NEPA! We come weekly to enjoy a band and the atmosphere. Not a run of the mill restaurant, this is a must try.
