We had over an hour and half to wait. They take your cellphone number and call when the table is available. Guests have 10 minutes to arrive before the reservation is cancelled. The food is delicious. The burgers with their blend of ground meats is a perfect blend, tasty, flavorful and moist. Definitely recommended. Service was excellent.
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! Service was impeccable! Food is out of this world! They ground their burgers fresh everyday and their dedication and commitment to their craft shows! Highly recommend the cocktails as well! The peppermint mimosa is such a simple drink and is so creative! If you find yourself in Peddlers Village doing some holiday shopping, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping into this restaurant!
Not a bad spot to stop by for lunch when visiting Peddler’s Village. Was told there would be an hour wait but got seated within half that time which was fantastic. We were there in October so they had a few seasonal specials that we really enjoyed. The Oktoberfest burger was topped with bratwurst and that was amazing. Absolutely loved the butternut squash hummus appetizer. The pumpkin martini was a little heavy but still pretty good for a festive cocktail. Would definitely come back again when in town.
Food was tasty, service was very good, although our table needed another wipe down. One thing that was annoying were the flies hovering around and my husband noted a large weird stain on the floor at a nearby table. The peach whisky drink was excellent.
Went for a work lunch with 5 co-workers on a Sat afternoon. We made reservations so we were seated immediately in a semi-private room. Staff was friendly, but there were moments where we seemed to wait for service longer than was to be expected. Food was good, but not exceptional.
Awesome restaurant in Peddlers village. Great service, friendly wait staff, welcoming environment. Food choices were great. Drinks, a variety of beers were spot on. Definitely will viist again.
This restaurant was cool and the service was great. I recommend the onion rings. If you want a burger get the SW burger.
Edit- I went to buttonwood recently and the food was completely off. Nothing was good. I do not recommend the pizza. I got my normal potato salad and it was off. I would go and try it again because Normally the food is great, but whatever you do please do not get the pizza.

First time here on 5.28.23 for Memorial Day weekend. Sat outside; which was comfortable and scenic, but there were a lot of big flies flying around. Our waitress was attentive and nice and we all really enjoyed our meals. I had The Kennett Square ($15.50), which had roasted wild mushrooms, Gorgonzola cheese & Truffle Oil. My dad got Meatloaf “Butcher’s Style” ($22) which looked kinda thin and small but he liked it. Then my mom got Pan-Roasted Salmon ($26) with Glazed Brussels sprouts. Other customers at the restaurant seemed to order the burgers, which looked massive. We had no room for dessert, maybe next time.
Little too long waiting. But it is Xmas time!. First thing we did upon arrival to Peddler's Village we put our name down and then went shopping. We received a text that our table was ready.... it was well worth the wait .
Found ourselves at Peddlers Village browsing through the store getting hungry. Luckily there were restaurants with good reviews making the decision tough as to where to go and we picked Buttonwood Grill.
Was looking for a place for a cold beer to go with lunch and they had a decent selection on hand. What really won me over was the fact they had Coastal Evacuation? A double IPA, from Cape May Brewery in Tap. Definitely one of my favorite Brereries and beers so my meal started off on a really high note.
The menu had a decent selection to chose from and we ended up ordering a burger a d the pulled pork sandwich. I will say I saw hot sliced cherry peppers on a different burger and requested them on my plain burger. All to often, these simple request are often dismissed. However my request was easily accommodated and a great compliment to my burger.
Beer was cold, service was great, and the food was tasty. A great meal all around. We were able to be seated as soon as we entered, and our drinks were served and food came out in a reasonable time and we were back to shopping in no time.
If you find yourself in Peddlers Village or passing through, you may want to check this place out.
Holy YUMMMMMM! This place must be tried. I’m not even a big burger person, but I had to try one since they’re known for them. I was NOT disappointed!
First, had to get the onion rings as an app. Perfectttttt!! Gobbled those right up.
The Mediterranean burger with the dill potato salad on a hot summer day? PERFECTTTTT!
Omg it was seriously the best burger I’ve ever had. So flavorful. Could only eat half, it was so big.
The outside seating is nice and the drink menu is fun too! Will be back again for sure!
***UPDATE***
I have eaten at Buttonwood Grill a couple more times since my original Review. I can say the food is better than the first time I had it. The soups have been my favorite part of my meals. The pizza is good and the last time I was there I had the meatloaf which is interesting because it is a sausage flavor meatloaf not a traditional meatloaf but really good anyways. The mashed potatoes and spinach with it were excellent as well. My family really likes eating here.

I came here with my 2 younger boys for lunch. We arrived around 2pm so after the lunch rush. We were informed we had to wait for a table. We waited for about 15 minutes then were seated. The table was clean but only had silverware for 2 people for a table that can sit 4. They never brought another set either. I saw them clean and set up another table and did the same thing by only placing 2 sets of silverware. The service was slow as well. Not extremely slow but slow for how unbusy the place was. I'm guessing they are short handed. The server (Gavin?) was excellent. He took our order and worked hard with the other tables he had in the area.
I ordered the soft pretzels for the kids and the soup of the day Chicken Potato for appetizers. My soup was good just a little under seasoned. The pretzels were soft but extremely salty. With the salt on top and the I'm assuming liquid butter on the pretzels they were so salty. For our main course the kids wanted Chicken Tenders and French Fries. Both were okay. The menu says choose your dessert so I wasn't sure if that meant dessert comes with the kids meals or not but we didn't order any dessert nor were we prompted to pick a dessert. Could be clearer. I had the Guinness Onion 'n Bacon burger. I asked it to be cooked medium and probably should have asked for medium rare as the burger came out medium well or closer to well done because there was no pink at all when I cut it in half and the burger was tough. You get tough burgers from over cooking or overworking the meat. I feel like it was both that contributed to the burger not being great as it seemed like the patty was pressed tightly together. Despite that the burger was tasty. I liked the bacon, onions and horseradish. My side was the dill potato salad and that was fantastic. Probably my favorite item.
The dining area was nice. I liked that the tables had some distance between them so you didn't feel crammed in. There were 2 or 3 house flies bothering us during lunch time which was annoying. The bathrooms were clean which was appreciated. So all in all it was an okay experience. We will try them again.
We stopped in tonight for dinner, and it was truly incredible. Me and my partner got specialty burgers and they were incredible! The drinks were great, and the cost for dinner was fantastic. We would come back again!
Ate lunch at Buttonwood Grill on Saturday during the Apple Festival. Our waiter, Billy, was excellent! Placed an order from the kid's menu when he took our drink orders. Grilled cheese and fries were served promptly. After our meals were served, he checked back for d-e-s-s-e-r-t for my 10 month old grandson - he had us laughing about this! Thanks for a great experience!
Went there on today 10/22. Had my family there quick seating , fast service , excellent food . The butter nut squash salad was to die for , loved the chicken sandwich too. Two little complaints fries were soft, woman’s bathroom needed some tending . Other than that it was very nice experience. Will definitely go again .
We enjoyed our breakfasts here while staying in Peddlers Village. There were good selections, varied and the quality of the food was wonderful. The decor is very nice and the servers were excellent!!!
Best burger and service we’ve gotten in a long while
