Simple Asian-American island fare without all the bells and whistles. Definitely a spot where locals come for a quick and delicious lunch. This is a very unassuming joint where you just go up to the window and order your food. The portions are quite generous and the entrees average out to be about $13 and it comes with a side. There are no current prices listed on the menu which was slightly inconvenient when you’re trying if you stay within spending budget for a family, but luckily the staff taking your order at the window will tell you how much the item costs. It’s strictly take out only and there were a decent amount of outdoor dining tables available that seats 4 people per table. We bought two entrees plus an order of spam musubi (the order came with two giant pieces) that came out to be around $30 for two people.

Good food. Family owned and operated. Be clear about what you want when you order. Katsu bomb. Ribs excellent Garlic shrimp and panko crusted shrimp so good. Best basic burger and fries on the go. Order ahead, just call.

This place is legit. Kalua pork comes in a massive portion and has a nice and smokey flavour. Includes a healthy serving of rice and some decent pasta salad. The honey walnut shrimp was good too. A cheap spot to get a big meal that packs a lot of flavour.

This was a surprise find while we were looking for a different restaurant off Google. I had the ribs, my BFF had katsu chicken. Generous portions, modest pricing, and tasty flavors. Best surprise? The best Hawaiian MacSal I've ever had.

What more local can you get? I had the bbq chicken mini, lot more food than expected for a mini. My husband had the shrimp fried rice. You just go up to the window and order. We had to ask for prices since the menus do not have prices. Taste was very good, food was very hot and portions were big. We waited for about 10 minutes for the food and we spend about $21 between both our meals, a deal, compare to most places in Maui. There are only a few tables, we sat there for about 5 minutes with the food before we decided to eat in the car. A pigeon and some little bugs were not letting us eat in peace. But I most say “A most try when in Maui”. “Feel like a local, eat like a local”.

Huge variety of Chinese and Hawaiian favourites. I'm a big eater and thought the portions were generous. Free parking is available. We got the locomoco with mochiko chicken and their house special bbq duck. The food was ready quickly and we devoured our meals just as fast. I would highly recommend this restaurant for quick and delicious meal.

The ribs and chicken were great. The spamasubi barely had any spam and was all rice. Mac salad was tasty. Great local spot

No frills restaurant with outdoor seating-large portions at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend if you just need a quick place to grab a bite to eat! We had the fried fish, garlic shrimp and mochiko chicken-would definitely order the garlic shrimp again!

Got fried rice, 2 meats: spam and sausage, and scrambled eggs. Fried rice is delicious. Portion is large so I'm having it for lunch as well. Hubby got Loco Moco and it definitely hits comfort spot. Highly recommend!!!

Great for Asian and Hawaiian dishes. Mainly take out but there are some cement tables. Also recommend Mochiko chicken

As a tourist who has visited Maui at least yearly for four decades, we were happily surprised with our first visit to this place today. It reminded us a little of Aloha Mixed Plate when it was small and overrun with cats, but we loved the food (prior to its corporatization and ultimate demise). Of course there is no view of the ocean, and there were pigeons instead of cats, but the food was all great (seven of us tried many things from the menu). I will be back for sure.
