Beautiful ocean-front sunset bar for casual food & drinks. One night we had very good and one night just acceptable meals. The chicken tenders for my granddaughter were tough the first night yet very good a couple nights later. The salad, tacos, smoothie, burger, and grilled cheese were good to very good. No reservations, you can come in your wet bathing suit. Next to the pool and beach. Wonderful live music & hula dance interpretation every night at ~5pm till sunset. They stop the music for a tiki torch lighting ceremony and then dive off the cliff into the ocean - It is fun to watch and includes a little Hawaii history & culture.
Can't beat the view!! Food and beverages were delicious and fairly (vacation) priced, will definitely visit again after a good morning snorkel at Black Rock.
Following our invigorating snorkeling adventure at Black Rock, our appetites were ravenous and we had the additional task of validating our parking ticket at a Sheraton restaurant. The island chopped salad topped with mahi mahi along with an ahi tuna poke bowl satiated our hunger. We also enjoyed the pleasant view of the beach as we dined.
In addition to the salad, I decided to indulge in a rum cocktail called "False Alarm." While the drink was undeniably strong, its flavor leaned towards the bitter side, which didn't quite align with my personal taste preferences.
Quality of food for a beach side grill was very good, and the views of the ocean spectacular. Service was great and our host Mari very attentive. We had the Quesadilla with pork, and the Ahi Poke Bowl. Both were very tasty. Great place to go mid-afternoon for a quick bite and a good drink.
Next to the beach at Sheraton Kaanapali great views of black Rock and sunsets. Very casual relaxing cuisine. Same menu as some the other places at the Sheraton cooked in the main kitchen but very tasty. Wish they had more local beers available.
Love this restaurant. The view is right out of a postcard and service is amazing. Darcy is absolutely a gem but all the staff make you feel right at home. Love the daily specials and can’t beat the vibe!
Decent food and drinks at the expected exorbitant island prices. Lots of rich tourists, lots of annoyed locals serving them.
We are staying at the kaanapali beach hotel and can’t find anything vegan that is good. But we tried the cliff dive grill, finally heathy vegan options. Super nice people who work here and wow an amazing spot to watch the sunset.
We didn't even stay at this hotel but read good reviews. So went over there. Got seated and served right away. Their pina coladas were fantastic! We snacked on queso and wings which were great! The birds were hilarious that flew in. Great entertainment to watch. Also nice view.

This place has the BEST club sandwich and something sweet is a lava flow drink:) Amazing cliff diver performance every night at 6:30pm with sunset. Great atmosphere, friendly and music.
Pricey but tasty, with a fantastic view. The fish tacos were good (perhaps slightly bland). Our waitress was really great. Super friendly and quick, fun to chat with and checked on us regularly. We came during lunch time and it was busy but not crowded. Drinks were good.
We had a quick stop at the bar after a hot day at the beach, ordered the poke bowl and chicken strips. Both were good , just found a rice too much compare to tuna. Guys at the bar were super friendly and served our drinks so quick despite being super busy. Will indeed go back
Great location to watch the cliff dive ceremony and get a drink. They have a musician and hula dancer leading up to the cliff dive ceremony (weather permitting). The food is just okay. I wouldn’t eat here for a full meal but rather a snack and drinks. I’d recommend the wings.

The "Cliff Dive Grill" is a favorite lunch stop whenever we are in Maui. Located on the Sheraton Hotel property this little poolside/ beachside cafe offers a great view of "Black Rock" and the many brave (and not so brave) souls who jump, dive, or backflip off its 20+ foot crest. The food never disappoints and the drinks are all top shelf, as is the service! Treat yourself to a beachfront umbrella and chaise lounges for a very reasonable price. The Sheraton has a beach staff that can handle this request. (Look for a very tan smiling and lanyard wearing gentleman named Shawn. He's top shelf too!) If you go after 1:00pm the price drops. Call ahead for this service to make sure they have ample supplies on hand. They cater to their guests first. After a nice lunch do some snorkeling at the base of Black Rock ( be aware of people jumping from above. You'll be unpopular if you linger in the landing zone). Often times there are sea turtles very close to shore at the base of the rocks. A wide variety of fish are also present most of the time. On a very recent visit the water clarity was the best I had seen in several years! Riding the surf in this beautiful bay is a great pastime also. Be careful and never turn your back on the surf! Food and beverage prices are somewhat higher than other places, but hey, this is Maui at its finest and the quality of the entire experience more than justifies the cost!

Ok, so resorts sell over priced drinks ($16) and food ($25 Ceasar), but here, they were excellent! The servuce was also stellar, and the view was delightful. If it had been swim up, it would stellar
