We went to China Moon for the first time and thought everything was delicious. The portions are generous. Flavors were yummy and the brought us extra dishes to try. Really enjoyed it, restaurant is clean and staff was so kind and amazing!! Chefs did a good job. Wish I had more photos but we ate everything. Pic if fish and icecream macaroons. Sesame chick was good.
We had dinner here on Friday evening and it was our first time at China Moon. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! The shrimp was fresh and delicious and the pork fried rice was very flavorful and light. The chef came by our table to say hello and the staff was friendly and very professional. Such a breath of fresh air from so many restaurants that don't have their act together! Compliments to the ownership team! So happy we finally found the BEST Chinese restaurant in Orange County.

China Moon restaurant is the one of best Chine food restaurants in Orange County. I've visited both Orange County and Los Angeles Chinese restaurants. This restaurant is the best Chinese food as far as I know. I ordered their orange chicken which is the best orange chicken I've ever had. Also, the staff is very nice. They're very helpful. I totally recommend the restaurant.
Food was good, especially the rainbow shrimp. The perper steak was ok, but some of the pieces were chewy.
Best Pekin duck we tried so far ! Our kids love orange chicken! Very nice place to visit and have dinner
Stopped here for a friends birthday. We immensely enjoyed the Spring rolls, and a bowls of Sizzling Rice soup on a dark rainy OC day. Our server did an amazing job and was extremely attentive.
We strongly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon.
One of our family's favorite restaurants! Not too many great Chinese restaurants in southern OC, but this one shines! I am not a fan of wonton soup, but I really like and enjoy China Moon's. Their seafood is always fresh and amazing as are pretty much all their meals.

Our first time at China Moon tonight and what an exceptional experience it was! We loved it so much that we plan on driving down from North OC for future date nights to eat here! Everything was great, from the lovely ambience, great service (thank you Sandy!), fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, to just feeling cared for (this was also clear from how many regulars/locals streamed in with happy greetings and excitement to order their favorite dishes, that’s when you know a place is loved by their community). We had the Shanghai dumplings (so juicy and fresh, I would definitely recommend this for your starter), Shrimp Fried Rice (this was honestly the best shrimp fried rice we’ve ever had and we gobbled it up, I wish I knew how to make it this good lol), Ma La Beef (the beef was cooked perfectly along with a variety of yummy veggies, great flavor all around), and my absolute favorite dish was the Roast Duck (crispy skin and flavors that brought me back to happy childhood memories eating savory roast duck with my grandmother). Thank you China Moon for a wonderful evening! (And thank you Vanissa & Jonathan, you run an amazing restaurant that I can tell so many people love and enjoy!)
We had a great dinner and our waiter Rob was very king and helpful.

The best Chinese food and restaurant in OC. Had the sesame shrimp, Kung Pao chicken and fried rice. Love the food and the staff, so friends and food soooo good!!!!
The food was amazing. The special which was Chilean seabass melted in our mouths and had such a great flavor. Service is always phenomenal.

Fabulous food, so fresh. Tasty. Balanced. Good atmosphere. Positive staff with spirit (they aren’t bored or burned out). Decent prices (at least compared to the Bay Area, ha). I’m usually disappointed by Chinese restaurants, but not today.
Excellent local delicious Chinese food restaurant! Consistent quality and great service! It shows since they are often very busy by 6pm, but well worth the wait. Take out is always hot and made right. Make this your next Chinese lunch or dinner!
