Went here on Memorial day morning. Was a little surprised this restaurant was still here as the attached mall is closed for renovations. This Ruby's is facing the Nordstrom Rack and the medical offices of the nearby hospital. On this visit, I enjoyed the 2 egg breakfast which came with spuds (potatoes) and choice of toast. Fast and friendly service.
This ruby's is amazing. Everytime they treat me like im at home. They Always get my order perfect and its just very comforting. The server who has been very consistent and always like a top with everyone, and always puts the customer 1st as I have noticed since I come in 4 times a week i see everything,...IS server JOSE GONZALEZ JR. He's the man. Good job taking care of your restaurant.
Ps. I typically only review high end resorts, restaurants ,boutiques, clothing stores ect but when I see somebody go out of their way to create amazing customer service I have to give them a shout out. 5☆

We were visiting Laguna Beach area for a wedding and stopped at ruby's Diner for a quick lunch.
We got thw patty melt and it was very good. Their fries were also fresh and really tasty.
Our server was friendly and very attentive! I have to say, really good service.
We enjoyed our experience at Ruby's Diner and will be back for sure.
We love stopping by Rubys when we stop by Laguna Hills Mall, consistent food and service and the kids always enjoy themselves with the cool atmosphere.
Just tried the new spot since moving from one location to another on the property. Still has the same quality and service that we expect. Can't go wrong.
Our waiter Rigoberto hands down amazing. He actually listened to what I ordered. I hate when you ask for something they don't listen. I asked for a water with no lemon. Something as small as that is usually overlooked looked and I have to toss it. He brought it without the lemon. I asked for light spread and I usually have to do it myself. I forgot to ask for extra bbq sauce and a side of ranch. He's psychic cause he brought it. He followed up, I hate when you shove food into your mouth and they walk up and ask the question. All the food served here is nothing short of excellent. Their thick hamburgers are juicy and their milkshakes never let me down. Staff are pleasant and to the dot. 100% recommend.
Very pleasant and attentive service and the food was great. Somewhat pricey for what you get but an overall good experience.
Mi first dining experience at Ruby's. I was quite impressed! The food is excellent, the service is awesome, and the wait is short ( 5-10 mils). I ordered "Half and Half": Vegetable soup and Turkey Sandwich. The soup was like homemade! Wow! And the Turkey Sandwich was from Real Turkey! Like almost Thanksgiving. If I lived closer I would go back regularly. No pic if the food since we ate it in the car. Went back and complemented them. Thank you!...
Came in for their birthday celebration which is a burger and fries for $2.99. great customer service and great job by the staff on handling the large number of customers in an orderly fashion.
My mom and I were wet and cold because of heavy rain so we decided to go to Ruby's to get warmed up. We were seated immediately and we both ordered a hot coffee, and boy did it hit the spot! I had a pattymelt w/a turkey burger and sweet potato fries and my mom ordered the Ruby burger with a turkey burger and she also got sweet potato fries. We both really enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent.
Ruby's is always a good experience and has very decent diner food. The ambience makes dining a pleasure and the servers are always pleasant. The food is hot and it wasn't crowded and the dishes were prepared well.
Went here for my birthday, always love my experience here, beautiful adorable theme. The server was the kindest man ever, he was basically the only one working and still was so nice and apologized for everything. He didn't need to though. definitely will forever be in my mind if such a sweet server. I hope he has a great day.
The food is pretty good but it could be better. Don't get me wrong, the burgers are great. They are perfectly cooked and taste amazing. It's the French fries that I'm not thrilled about. They lack overall taste and are dry. Maybe it was just my fries that were bad, but if not I hope I'm helping. Other than the French fries the service is decently fast so it is always a good place to go if you short on time. All in all I would recommend this restaurant.
I have always been a Ruby's fan. Never had been to this location. I think they were understaffed today so my takeout burger took 30 minutes. Would have been nice to have been given a heads up about that. The manager said 15 minutes and it took 1/2 an hour. :/ But at least the food was still good.

Went here with my daughter my neice some friends first time for me ever.
Let me say the customer service was outstanding. I am so happy for that.
My granddaughters 6th grade graduation dinner she chose. And I loved the atmosphere and the food. I usually always have as take home box because I live to eat the other half of my meal later on so good that way. Not this time I got the bacon burger and onion rings so good I ate everything on my plate saved nothing for later I so enjoyed the burger onion rings exceptional with ranch dressing. As I'm writing this now my stomach started growling it wants more. And they have a gumball machine if u get a red gumball u get a free rootbeer float or coke float. So 10 dollars later all the kids got a free float as did I. By the way did u know kids eat free on Tuesdays and that's the day we went hows that for a very pleasant surprise. Thank you to Ruby's for making our entire clan feel comfortable and very welcome in your establishment. Recommendation in my my point of view out of 5 points it's a plus 5.
Outstanding burger and fries. Breakfast menu excellent. Love the decor and music. A wee bit skimpy with the carmel on the sundae tho. Did taste good when I could find some
