Urth Caffe is a classic and delivers great breakfast and lunch fare as well as delicious drinks. Their matchas are a standout and their matcha tiramisu is the best thing they make. These two dishes (pictured) are two of my other favorites, the salmon benedict is my go-to and the butternut squash pizza is a wonderful creation.
It is in a beautiful spot but there are two big detractors to the location. First, as you could expect, parking is quite tricky if it’s a busy day. The second issue is that most of the seating is on their beautiful patio BUT IT’S OVERRUN BY PIGEONS. Over the course of a single lunch I saw four different people have pigeons land ON their food and have to have the food re-made. They are a big issue but there is not much anyone can do against them. They’re confident and will fly right onto your table to take your food.

I classify it as a restaurant for the quality of food and the variety of dishes offered through my many experiences. It is considered one of the most beautiful places. The prices are average. I recommend a visit.

The best kept secret in Laguna. Perfect spot for breakfast or lunch and can easily sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
It's so hard to decide. The organic coffees, amazing healthy smoothies, the colorful well planned out food.
You can eat here multiple times and never work your way through the menu.
They never disappoint. Ty Urth Cafe!

This is a great cafe with a good choice of breakfast, lunch and many desert! Coffee is superb and we ordered wild mushroom pizza, paradise salad and Greek salad. All were excellent. Very busy place and a line to the curb during peak hours. Street parking and they have 2 order pick up spots behind the cafe. I highly recommend trying this place and sit on the patio or inside and enjoy!

This is my favorite Urth location. It's near the beach, quick and efficient service, ample seating, and overall just a good vibe. And the huevos rancheros did not disappoint me 😩💙 They're also dog friendly 🐕

Super friendly staff and the treats are always consistent; my cafe granita and Diablo pizza are as magnificent as they were last visit and my wife’s pumpkin latte was out of this world according to her; not too sweet and the pumpkin is onnnnnn point.
A must stop place for the easy vibes and good food.

Laguna Beach breakfast was delicious! Spanish coffee latte was the best! Honey Vanilla latte was good too! Never been disappointed eating or having a specialty coffee drink!

Every single item I have enjoyed here over the past 2 years has been absolutely exquisite, in every way from the presentation to the freshness of ingredients and flavors, right to the last morsel.
In fact, it astounds me how many hoighty-toighty, foo-foo types come here, stand in line for up to 45 minutes to place an order, and only consume HALF the food on their plates!
I mean, the portions are fair, and not OVERLY generous, so it's not like one could be SO stuffed that one MUST throw away perfectly good food that anyone else would GLADLY Enjoy, right??
And did I mention how incredibly fresh the produce, meats and Ingredients Are?!?!? Lol.
Anyways, after two years I finally thought to give a review; I love the food, and the Baristas are SuperHuman, in my humble opinion, creating the MOST DELECTABLE Artwork in a Mug possible.
Only caveat is that quite often said exquisiteness comes long after the meal, as opposed to WITH the meal it was ordered for and meant to be savored alongside.
I understand that the baristas are doing the best they can, as fast as they can, and delays *(especially during the height of summer) are to be expected, but still....
I always TIP CASH at time of order, which kinda bums me out when that happens.
On this particular occasion I SPECIFICALLY ASKED at time of order "IF I TIP BIG, would you please TRY to see that our drinks come with the meal, or at least SOON after", and while no promises were given, I did get my wonderful cappuccino a couple minutes after the food arrived.
One more reason I continue to come back.

The visited the place with friends. This is my first visit to LAGUNA BEACH. The place is located very close to beach so you can just walk down.
There are many food, deserts and drink options at this place so you will find it difficult to decide.
I tried Vegetarian cheese pizza and banana cake. It was really good. Pizza was good with soft bread. However, it will be little expensive so ready to shell out money.
The place is on height so not sure for people with special needs. The restroom are clean.
