Great burritos, generous portions and good prices. I love the steak-lime burrito and the chicken curry burrito. I’ve coming here for 4 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The burritos are consistently good, taste amazing and the chicken/shrimp/steak have never given me food poisoning which is more than I can say for most restaurants of this type. 10/10, remember it’s cash only and try the steak-lime!

Not worth it anymore, the negative reviews are all right about this place. Pay a lot, get very little. Cash only. Bad additude/rudeness by owner. Also the source of very bad food posioning. This place used to be great, seems like it couldn't take the pressures.

Wow. I haven't been here since I was in college and this place still knocks my socks off.
A little bit off the beaten path in Lafayette, Casa Gourmet throws down on specialty burritos. I got the Cajun chicken and shrimp and the thing was as big as my forearm.
Packed with black beans, rice, chicken, shrimp, lettuce, and salsa, it's unreal. The the Cajun flavor spices it up SO well. Order with a side of chips.
You're gonna finish the whole thing.

Absolutely amazing family owned spot: one of the best burritos in the area (Garlic Lime Steak is my choice) - also comes as a burrito bowl.
Generous portions, easy area to access, plenty of parking, great prices, unique flavors.

I have never had an experience like I had at this place. Yesterday I ordered 2 burritos at 11:30 AM. After I received the burritos I noticed he charged me $4 more then the posted sign. When I told the owner Dave that he over charged me. He became visible angry and said do I know how much prices have gone up. I shrugged my shoulder and said, the posted sign said $10.95? He then said you want your few bucks back nd he tossed me $2. I told him what he was doing was wrong and the prices on the posted sign should be the price he charges his customers. I told him that I was going to call the city hall on him. He pulled out a card and waived it at me and said “go ahead here is there number”. Next Dave the owner said “ I can’t wait to be with your wife tonight”, “I’ll show her what a real man is like”. This is the first and last time I’ll ever be in this business.

I've never been to this restaurant before and called to order some burritos. When I arrived I realized they only take cash. The owner said that he told they only take cash when I talked to him on the phone but I don't remember this. I was $3 short after rummaging through my car for change. I visit my mother-in-law on a regular basis in the area so I would've been back. I said that I would pay the additional $3 the next time I came but he said "Oh no you won't… that's what they all say". Needless to say I won't be back.
