Outstanding Indian restaurant! Award winning East Bay restaurant, located in Lafayette. Great value and exceptional quality food! I would recommend their butter chicken, creamy sauce in a vibrant red color! Great with their fluffy white rice or garlic basil Naan! Aloo Gobi (potatoes and cauliflower) excellent vegetarian dish. Their garlic basil naan is baked crispy and well seasoned.

The best Indian food the Bay Area 😍. I tried there tikka masala it reminds me of my home country it’s even better than that. Friendly atmosphere and looks like they are going to have a full bar license soon. I totally recommend this place to everyone who loves Indian food

So first off the food is pretty good. But the service and attention to your order is something that can ruin the whole experience.
We ordered online and waited the given hour to pick up. When we got there they looked like deer in headlights asking my name for the order. They obviously never started it and just said, a couple minutes. Needless to say they were pretty rude and really late. I watched about 5 other people experience this while I was waiting for my food. Ohh yeah, the order was wrong too....
For the price and quality, you can find other places that care about their customer service

If you want yummy food I recommend this restaurant. Pardeep and Sam and All staff is Very friendly . Delicious food and taste never change. I am coming here from 8 years and they never disappoints me . Thank you guys 👍🏼

Always enjoyed the the lunch buffet. Plenty of choices and quick service of fresh naan bread. Edit: changed my review as we have been coming to the buffet for a LONG time, buy after our recent visit they charged our 8 year old the adult price and when we asked why they said kids 6 and under get the kids price?? Uhhh what? Since when? Not a humongous deal, but my 6 year old and 8year old basically eat the same amount and they have never told us an age requirement for the kids buffet.

We have eaten at Swad for many years before Covid. Their food was always good, above average. Since Covid, we switched to take out only. Interestingly, their food preparation has improved since Covid began and I would now rate their food as the top Indian that I have had in the East bay area!
