Review Mici Handcrafted Italian - Lafayette

I went with my friend and it was amazing!! We only paid about $16 for dinner altogether. We bought and shared a ten-inch pizza and bread, and it was definitely enough for my friend and me to eat. Great prices and good portion size for it. The staff were amazingly nice, and dealt with our shenanigans of wanting to do the math for the tip and all. They were patient, didn't mind us being there, and were very kind the whole time. I'd love to go back there again!

What a great place to grab a quick Italian meal on the go. They have a great selection of pastas and pizza made to order. Wine is available along with outdoor seating in a covered patio. The staff is pleasant and efficient. And they have Italian music. They also will cater. Go there.

When I worked at Good Sam in 2020, someone gifted us pizzas from Micis. The rest is history. This is my favorite pizza place! The staff is always nice, and every pizza I’ve gotten here has been amazing. Their reward system is nice too, I usually get a free dessert like a cannoli or gelato, but sometimes it can be a salad or pasta! Thank you!!

We've eaten at Mici's, and ordered home delivery numerous times. It's the rare case when something is not wrong with our order. The most recent time, it was as simple as a missing meatball from one of our entrees, but that's enough to upset me and ruin an evening. Several times, they have given me "rewards" which just simply disappear when I try to use them. Ordering the rewards is NEVER easy and I don't think I've gotten it to ever work online. One time, I had two rewards in my account, accidentally chose one, and when I went to change to the other, which was a free cannoli, the first one disappeared from my account. So I never was able to redeem that one. And, when when I got the order, the free cannoli was not in our order, so I never got that either. Once I went to order online, and spaghetti and meatball was not an option online. I called, and they said they had it and were not sure why it wasn't online. So, I had to call in an order, which I would much rather do online. The quality and quantity of the food is fine, but the prices have been steadily inching upwards to almost "dine in at a nice place" prices. The last order I placed, which was four entrees, and a salad, with delivery fee plus a tip, was over $80, when two of those entrees were only $10 each. All their added fees and increased prices add up. I have the emails of my past orders, and your prices are clearly being raised several times a year. You're a casual dining place, not a fine dining place. I realize there is inflation right now, but for the mistakes and the mediocre quality, I can't justify ordering $80 meals for four anymore.

Immediately as soon as you open the doors the smell brings you in. Its very clean and the food is as good as everyone says it is...defintly favorite option was the pizza! Customer service was also great, They were extremely friendly and helpful when it came to what to order

I had a catering order May 7th and was left feeling extremely disappointed with MICI. They fell short on a few things that should be unacceptable for any catering order, especially not an $800 event with a MONTHS notice. We had nothing to serve the lasagna or salad dressings, the pizzas weren’t double cut, we barely got any croutons, all the lids were tore up and barely holding on, there was no empty pans to hold the water that the sternos heat up (especially because the sternos and wire racks had to come out of my pocket), the chicken was cut SO THICK that the large catering pan we ordered really only had as many servings as a small, and there wasn’t enough plates. Shelley was super unprofessional communicating that she waited until the last possible minute to get serving spoons. She decided to send a text instead of calling and stating the reason they wouldn’t make it was because the didn’t arrive on the truck that day, it was 4pm so it was too late to get any, and she didn’t work tomorrow {the day of the catering}. When we were notified they wouldn’t be included with the order I asked for a discount since it was ANOTHER thing that had to come out of my pocket and she told me she would just go to dollar tree instead. Andrea (the delivery driver) gave me attitude because I wanted to check that everything was delivered before she left but she failed to bring the receipt. MICI did not even live up to it’s bare expectations.

Fantastic Italian food. We get the pizzas, best in town hands down! The lasagna is delicious also!

Great service and good food. The gelatto is amazing. My kids really enjoy eating here- they give kids some pizza dough to play with and sculpt, then they will cook it for them! The kids meals include a slice of garlic bread, but grapes and tomatoes are less than $1 each and you get a lot in each side.
