Udon Kaisha

Great sushi and ramen here. The fish meat is very fresh and is better than most of sushi restaurants we have visited. Nice and clean restaurant. The owner and chef offered top notch service just nice as the Boulder, CO. We came a bit late. They didn’t get us out and even offered a plate of free chef’s secret stewed lamb. When they knew we are visitors, they walked through us several popular sites in the CO. Definitely we will come back again. Love Boulder and people here.

The food was pretty good and it was nice and quiet, we were the only ones there for quite a while but one of the four rolls I ordered caused some disagreement between the person making the food and the person who took my order. That roll didn't come out but we were charged for it, after we paid the head of house was like, "have a good one" like we would just forget what we ordered, I guess? I asked about the 4th roll I ordered and he first played dumb like he didn't ring me up for four different types of sushi and they didn't argue about it right in front of us, then he brought me something else entirely, which was tasty but it wasn't what I asked for. All of that is to say that if the food maker is in a mood you won't get what you ask for but what you get will be tasty. I wish they had asked me to change my order instead of changing it for me.

Best ramen around, and a wonderful homey feeling. Great customer service too. Update, after two years away my wife and I returned here for a meal. Boy are they consistent, the food tasted exactly as last time, and just took us away 🥰 We ordered Takoyaki, pork belly buns, and the Thai spicy roll, and spicy shrimp rolls to start. Everything was amazing especially the Takoyaki, I had to get another order to go 🤤 Then we finished off with the spicy pork Ramen, and I had the Curry udon. They were amazing, as well as the experience.
