Great service, seriously. Quick too. And a great tasting large portion for a great price. The basic small cake cone is huge for like 1.50 and the chocolate malt shakes will hit the spot for sure

Well, it is NOT a Drive In like Dog N Suds with carhops and ordering from the car. You have to get out of your car because there is no drive thru either. The appearance of the place looks like it hasn't seen much maintenance or updating in its 78 years and the neighborhood is "seedy". They got my order wrong, which took 10 minutes and another 10 to make it right. However, the Coney dog and fries were excellent and the portions more than generous. I might go back but not after dark.

Pretty cool spot. It was busy in the early evening and we only ordered ice cream. No complaints about the ice cream, and they were large portions. No complaints about the customer Service...except the wait time to order was overly long.

The burgers are amazing and the ice cream is fantastic the fries and onion rings are great just everything looks truly awesome....but you better hurry they close on October 31 2020..until next year

Being Alive since 1961 And having visited many a "Food Drive-Ins" I expect too High of standards. I appreciate the Angus burger reputation But I prefer my patties hand formed and unseasoned except for A touch of salt. Prices today Are astronomical compared to my childhood. Today a child needs $10 minimum At these places to eat enough. The shakes were totally Worth their cost. My wife enjoyed the chili dogs But again The prices are too much. Inflation is inevitable But being A line cook myself I just feel The family food drive-in fun really isn't so Much anymore. In The early to mid 70's I attended a local food drive-in that offered a "Blue plate special" that consisted of 2 Burger's with any toppings, A LARGE Fry, and A LARGE Shake for $1.99. Now I realize that's 40 years ago But it cost me $24 for a double cheeseburger, small onion rings, 2 chili dogs, and 2 medium shakes Here and the Burger wasn't very good. We'll come back for your shakes though.

Budges is one of the best places in Lafayette. It has the best of everything especially the cherry cokes, chocolate cones and superman ice cream. The owmers are the greatest too.

Always forget about this hidden gem even though i lived in Lafayette for years. The ice cream was so creamy and perfect on a hot day. And the fact that they accept credit cards now is awesome. Makes it easier to go. My nephews and I loved it!

For real... theeeee worst floats in town... like... how hard is it to put ice cream in a large float.... for realsies...I got maybe 10 bites of ice cream from a float that almost costs 5 bucks.. it’s happened several times this year already....Dairy Queen puts you guys to shame...hell....even Burger King can prolly make me a better float... in fact .... I’m gonna go to BK and see if they’ll make me one...��������������������������
