Review Outback Steakhouse - Lafayette

This is what they call medium rare. And ordered steak and shrimp and they didn’t give me any shrimp. Asked for bread and was told no bread. They keep getting worse and worse. Used to love this restaurant but they’ve destroyed it.

Lisa was amazing! She was so friendly and attentive. We never had an empty glass and she checked on us often! She asked how we were doing and if we needed anything multiple times throughout our meal. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! The food was great too!

Went Saturday 2/12 at 3:15pm. We had gotten on the "list" via the web site and we were seated quickly. Apparently in an area with no server. Waited 20 minutes and never saw a server. No drinks, no order taken. People came well after us and were seated along the east wall and they were served immediately. We left after 20 minutes of being ignored. The ONLY reason I will ever return is to use the worthless gift cards. That is, unless OUTBACK will buy them back from me. Additionally, there was no heat. None. Would have been nice to know when we got there. Might have left immediately, no harm, no foul. Don't worry about "sharing with the team". There is no hope of redemption. Just tell me how to get cash for these gift cards. * I see I got the same lame response that everyone gets that leaves a bad review. I did use the contact form and left a review several days ago. With the building and kitchen already in place, y'all should think about starting a restaurant. You know, one that actually responds and fixes the problem. Just a thought, mate.

It was a long time since I ate in this chain of restaurants. I ordered a Medium Rare Steak. It was cooked Medium Well even after making sure waitress understood how I wanted the Steak cooked! The manager apologized and told me they had a new cook and offered to cook another steak! I was in a rush, so I declined. The rest of the food was so so! Good service by the waitress! When I received the bill, they removed the steak charge! Overall good service, but the food needs to improve!

Was ok. Not very themed, not enough staff. Food was ok. Not sure chain restaurants are my thing.

We ate at Outback on a VERY busy Sunday. The place was packed. Erica was our waitress and she was phenomenal. Even though every table was filled, Erica was attentive and made us feel like we were her only table. Erica made sure we had drink and bread refills and brought our food out hot! Best service we’ve ever had at Outback due to a fabulous waitress!

Enjoyed dinner here on the 9th. I have to say, as the first time I've been here, I wasn't expecting a great time based on the reputation of other branches I've been to. My preconceptions were pleasantly proven very wrong as we were treated to excellent food and service (thanks, Lexie!), all of which turned our date night from a gamble into a jackpot! Don't get me wrong, go to Mountain Jack's for the prime rib, but if you want a quality grilled steak for a great price point, you'd be hard pressed to find better in Lafayette. My wife and I will be returning soon, it's nice to have a place you can count on for a good meal when you've had a down day or need to celebrate.

The food was delicious as you might expect. The blooming onion, as always, is amazing. Our server was so funny and personable and attentive. He kept us laughing as he went on with his work. Very very happy with the evening.

The food was good, but lacked a real flavor. The place was half empty and we still had to wait 10/12 minutes to get seated, hopefully because they were understaffed. I gave a four star review because our waiter was excellent and we couldn't have asked for more, I wish I could remember his name. We were there around noon and I may suggest this place to others.

Service was very good... waiter very attentive... the wait for our food was too long but it did arrive hot and cooked to our specifications ,.... my husband said it was the best steak he had been served in a very long time! My steak was perfect... actually the entire dinner was perfect!! I would highly recommend Outback !!

Had THE best waiter we have had in a long time! Not sure how to spell his name, but his name was Jaiden. He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! Very bad service there was hardly anyone there we waited 10 minutes just to get our drinks ordered and the food wasn't that great the steak was good, this is very sad used to be my husbands favorite place to eat now he wished we would of went to Golden Corral would of been less money and probably better food the service was extremely poor

Usually a great place to eat but I went for the ribs this time and they were out my gf ordered mashed potatoes for one of the sides and they were out then she ordered a drink and they had no vodka. On the plus side the food we did get was delicious and our waitress did an amazing job. She was killing it and they looked short handed.

We always enjoy eating at Outback. Today we got your wings, bowl of Tortilla Soup and a salad. Everything was delicious!! Didn't have to wait too long either. Keep up the good service!! I wish you had a patio to eat on in the Summer. That would be great! Just an idea(hint hint). :-)

Poor portion size. Not made to order really I disappointed in the quality that is usually their signature. Pitiful Aussie take away for my Mothers Day Dinner looked like a microwave meal in a Styrofoam container very disappointing. I'm and outback lover too so it really makes me sad the quality here is so poor but the price sure hasn't changed.

For the love of God, this place couldn't get any better! Our service was beyond perfect. Jessica was everything you could ask for and more! The food was outstanding and served in the perfect timing! My wife and I really couldn't have felt more welcome. Keep it up!

I enjoyed the water park and rock climbing wall. Before the climb, we got to make our own aluminum foil hats with our diamond chopsticks. When we got to the top of the wall (which took me 2 hours) I found a Chia Pet from my childhood. It was lying unattended by the crazy-straw water slide. The experience at the concession stand was amazing. I met a woman named Windexter. She was a secret agent, but she only blew her cover because I was able to face the arctic winds, and traveled to the eye of 65, and built her a nursery for the pet raccoons that we just adopted on the last full moon. When I got back to our tent, I realized my science and math lab had blown up because I left the cereal oven running while I was busy shampooing the guest bath. I don't know why I shampoo the guest bath. The bath usually cleans itself.

Took forever to get waited on. Had to ask for our drinks three times. Never did get our appetizers told the waitress to forget it. This was our 2nd time there and its the last. Service was terrible. If you don't like your job find something else to do.

Husband and son enjoyed the food. Bun on my burger was cold and stale so I asked for another which took longer than I would've preferred. Server was going to bring me another beverage for myself and husband but forgot. Probably not going "down under" again anytime soon.
