Review Chili's - Lafayette

Most of the stuff was really good, especially the shrimp fajitas and the beans. But we didn't like the chicken fajitas; they were dry. The rice didn't have much going on for it either.

It's been a while since we visited a chili's location. Our experience at this location was great. The waitress who helped us was kind and the meals we ordered was delicious. I was craving the shrimp tacos but that's just how long it's been since we been back to chili's. They no longer serve that. I ended up ordering something different. Although, my meal was new for me. Thankfully it was yummy. I will definitely come eat here again. Overall, I give 5 stars for fresh food and great customer service.

Family decision to eat lunch. Upon entering staff was professional and courteous. Lexi our waitress did an outstanding service. Lexi made sure our needs were met. The other staff who brought our food greeted us with a smile and warned us about temperature of food to insure safety for my grandson. The fiesta trio was awesome. ( taste / presentation) will visit again. Excellent job

Had late lunch with my Butterfly (granddaughter number one) and we had the best date ever! The restaurant was clean and inviting. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food was great! Thanks to everyone at Chili's on Ambassador Caffery, Lafayette, Louisiana.

Exceptional customer service this past weekend! Rylan was our server and if I do say so myself as a manager for retail over 12 years, he did an astronomical job! Exemplary! The rest of the crew were strong team members and personified impeccable leadership! Job well done indeed! Definitely a crew to be modeled across all restaurants and customer service based establishments, because you truly just don’t see this level of service anymore. Amazing job guys!

We were the second ones seated 9/20/23 and from the start the service was fantastic and the place so clean. The food was top notch and we are looking forward to going back! We had not been to this location in a couple of years because of the food and service, but what a turn around!

It had been a while since I have gone to chili's. And this is the first time I've been to this location. It is better than the one I went to last time. However, it has become quite expensive (as have most restaurants) the food was good but I can't see spending $70+ (not including tip) for a family of 4 with two kids under 10.

The server, Brook, was fantastic. The food was good. The table was super easy to move. My young niece and nephew were able to shift the table. Could be a problem in the future.

Went on a Sunday evening in June. It was packed. We were a party of 8. It took approximately 40 minutes for us to get seated which was on par with the size of the crowd. The hostess gave us updates while we waited. Once we got our table, we were taken care of immediately by the waitstaff who were very friendly and attentive to our needs throughout the evening. We ordered appetizers and drinks which we received promptly. We ordered our entrees shortly thereafter. Everything was hot and delicious. When we were ready to leave, we were able to use the table top keyosk to check ourselves out.

Our waitress, Brooke, was great! Very attentive and had a smile on her face..like she really enjoyed her job. Nice and clean restaurant. Great atmosphere!

Had an excellent time, especially since we went on a busy night, “university graduation”. We waited less than five minutes, and when we requested a booth instead of a table the hostess was kind enough to clean one so it was ready for us! Our server, Glen, was fantastic. I’m sure he had a couple extra tables as he wasn’t always right there; however, supporting staff kept our drinks full and our table clean and clear. It was a well oiled machine of a team working tonight. They have great “deals”, and we got the $25 for two. Plenty of different options to choose from and a wonderful choice for just two people. Atmosphere was fun but wasn’t too much. I would go back as the food was good and the staff was kind.

Service was great as usual. Food was fresh off the grill, and seasoning was perfect. I have never had any problems at this location. Staff is usually friendly and the restaurant is clean.

We go to the bar each time and have had great service from those attending the bar. Last night was Elliot. Go see him. The food was great and of course you have to get some drinks. It's a good value for your money.

A very nice and pleasant afternoon. The food was excellent, the server displayed excellent service and prices reasonable.

Chilies in Louisiana is normally not that great but this one was rebuilt a couple years ago and it’s really good.

The food was excellent and the service was great! I would recommend anyone who love ribs and shrimp to eat at Chillis ambassador. This by far is my favorite restaurant to eat at.

Hello, my wife and I ate at Chili's on Ambassador Caffery on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. We have really found the new menu to have such a variety and really love the new menu items. We have always eaten at Chili's but have increased our frequency of dining in there with the new menu. But there is another good reason for us to be there, the wonderful service that we receive. Time after time, we get great service but on this day the service was EXCEPTIONAL!! We often sit in the bar and on this day our server was Symond. She greeted us with the biggest smile that a server can give to a customer, she kept the smile on throughout our stay for the meal, took our order which was specific, she made sure the order was served as ordered and kept our drinks full! Upon our exit from the restaurant, she made sure the people at the table that wanted thiei drink to go had one and went out of her way to help me pay the ticket on the electronic machine at the table. Her service was remarkable at the very least and everyone in our party made comments throughout the meal how good and nice of a server she is! I hope that she is there for more of our returns!

Simply worst Chilis we ever ate. No reason to go here. Worst service and worst food.

Don't go here!. Bad, bad service! Awful customer service, bad food! The cookie desert that we waited like 15 minutes to get, tasted like it was made with some kind of old oil. I went to the bathroom and happen to look at the kitchen and was all dirty a messy! I will NEVER eat here again or recommend this place to ANYONE!

Didnt even get to order!. We waited 20 minutes to get seated, restaraunt was not that full. We finally get seated and waited 15 minutes and never saw a server. Decided to get up and leave knowing it wasnt going to be a good experience.

Terrible service, mediocre food.. Poor service. Took an hour to get our dinner. Order was not right. Food was lousy. Never again.

This makes the third time you have screwed up my order to the point I could not eat it. The last meal took an hour. Mine was burnt bad and my wife's was still cold in the middle. Each screw up is getting progressively worse. The service is also getting worse. I do not see how I can go back. Lafayette this is so not typical of a Chili's. Unfortunately the other one I town is not much better.

Don't order the fajitas as they are really gross.

Went for lunch and there was a string in the lettuce of my husband's burger and my rice, that comes with the shrimp tacos, was still hard/ not cooked. Waitress apologized for both but we were never visited by a manager. We got 10% off bill but still not worth it!

Never again. At first it was just the fajitas that were lacking. Next it was all the food and the service went from sorta caring about their job to not caring one bit. We live so close to this location that's why we gave them so many tries. We even tried just to go for dessert and my cake was over nuked or something it was hard. I would not go back and eat at this place even if it was free. This one location has ruined chili's for me for a while. I wont even go to other locations right now because of them. Save your money and pick another location!

YUCK. I at at Chili's all the time and this place is horible. I orded my burger well done and it was almost raw. The soda tasted like it came out of the waste water treatment plant. (Clean your Lines). The employees were rude and un-caring. Lafayette is full of great food and friendly people, you just will nor find it at the Chili's on Ambassador Caffery. To top it off their burgler alarm went off all night long, I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door and it kept me awake

Horrible service! ordered fajita trio which is a 15.00 + entree! Chicken was literally an unseasoned chicken breast slapped on skillet, 3 slices of steak, 3 shrimp! After complaining to manager he brought more steak 15 mins later! So tough impossible to eat! Will never eat here again! Very unprofessional and unsatisifying! No free desert offered, nothing to make experience better!

Just awful.. Sit down food is good. <br/>Never, ever order takeout.<br/>I've given this Chili's at least a half dozen chances, due to the ease of online ordering, and pleasant Chili's experience in the past.<br/>Every single time, something was missing from my order. Every time. Today I placed what will be my last order. I ordered an hour in advance, and arrived on time. I waited 40 minutes at the restaurant to receive an incomplete order. 15 min later, I was finally given the missing items. Once I got home, I discovered the shrimp in my Cajun Shrimp Pasta were so burnt they were BROWN. It was disgusting.<br/>Please learn from my mistake and do not support this location.

Will Not Go Back!. I took my husband out for lunch on his birthday to the Ambassador location. I ordered 2 entries and 3 kid's meal. The kid’s meals arrived first without the sides that they came with, When I mentioned it the server said I’ll go get them. Two of the three sides came about 10 minutes following the kid’s meal, then 1 adult entree and the last kid’s side came out about 20 minutes after the first meal hit the table. The last entree, which was mine, came out 50 minutes after we’d initially sat down. (The server said they messed it up and they were doing it over when I finally asked “What’s the Hold Up??). Other tables who came in after us had received their meals, but I was still waiting on mine. My family had already eaten their meal by the time my Cajun Chicken pasta came out. When it did come, there was hardly any sauce to coat the pasta. To make it worse, the sauce was so watered down, it dribble everywhere. The garlic toast which is a part of the meal did not accompany my plate. I had to ask for it, which didn t come until 15 minutes after. After sitting there for over an hour and hadn t received my complete meal. I had to get up and leave to go back to work. I had to leave my husband and kids at the table because the sever took forever to bring the bill.My husband said he never did receive the To Go box he'd asked for twice!! I did not get to enjoy the occasion because I was so ticked that the waiter and kitchen didn t seem to know what the hell they were doing. I regret not staying to talk to the manager, but I had to get back to work.

My husband and I ordered two drinks total, one appetizer, and two very simple meals... We were there for two hours with almost no help. When we finally gave up without being served entrees we waited another 45 minutes for our dinner to go. Worst place EVER

What can I say, it's a chain restaurant. I rarely go here for the food or service but the drinks are definitely an A+!

I've been a regular customer for year. It's never been great, but over the past few months, it's gotten truly awful! Cold food, tasteless food, and poorly cooked food. This is bad even in the context of a fast food joint. Do your self a favor get your fast food somewhere else.

Horrible service

Takeout quality low! Guess they know you are going to be home and can't do much about sending food back... Ordered the chicken that is supposed to have the chipolte sauce on it, practically needed a microscope to find any sauce. Recommend the Pinhook location instead of this one definitely!

Talk about slow. This is it. If you want to be back at work on time, don't eat here. They were not even busy.

I rarely eat at Chilis but I must say that today I tried their grilled shrimp Caesar salad. It was amazing! The lettuce was fresh and there was beans cheddar cheese, onions, and this sweet but tangy sauce. The to-go service was excellent and I got my food fast. The shrimp were huge and seasoned to perfection. I must say I will be back again.
