Review Smitty's Wings - Lafayette

The wings are good. I love the Sweet Chili and Smitty’s house rub. The waitress was nice and tried hard but they were understaffed so service was slow. Good beer selection

The place not only has the traditional style of wings but a very unique style of boneless ones too. The sauces and dry rubs are some of the best in the city. I personal love the burgers and the boneless garlic wings. Every time I have gone in here the owner has made it a point to talk to me and as I watch he tries his best to talk to every customer to make sure they are happy. Now that they have moved it has become better by way of a drive-through. This has made my wallet happy and my dog happier.

Oh my we ate from Smitty’s 3 days in a row. Made me break my diet! The wings are cooked to perfection. I had the naked wings with the Smitty’s house rub. The other order was naked wings. We also ordered a Caesar salad which was delicious! Customer service was awesome! Oh and the daiquiri’s are delightful! Thanks for an awesome experience all the way around!

One of my favorites since they were at the old location on Congress. The house rub is still hands down one of the best wing flavors in the city. Their wings haven't changed at all but I think Covid really took a toll on the atmosphere and moving to the new location which I way smaller would be good for the owner. I'll never put anyone's wings over Smitty's. Definitely if you're in town come check them out!

By far the best wings in town, while the service can be a bit slow the wings are so good that this place still deserves the 5-star review. The wings are always crispy and they don’t cut corners with the sauces, they’re unlike any other sauce I’ve had before. Id recommend this place to anyone

I've been here once and had a terrible experience. We walked in and waited about 10 minutes before seeing a single staff member, almost like they were all on break at the same time. We finally got seated and before we could order drinks, the waitress walked away. We waited another 5-10 minutes before we ordered drinks and appetizers. We got our drinks and I was brought the wrong beer. Not a problem, mistakes are made in life. What got me was when I mentioned it to the waitress, she acted as if I was bothering her. You made a mistake, at least apologize and try to make things right. We got our appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and onion rings. The mushrooms were frozen in the middle. When I bit down, I bit into ice. The onion rings, outstanding. The onion rings are one reason why I gave them 3 stars. The other reason is the wings. The wings were battered perfectly and the sauce was delicious. Each of us tried another person's wings, and they were all delicious. So after one visit, the service was absolutely terrible, but the food is what will make me give this place another chance. The wings are outstanding. I have tried this place again since the last terrible experience I had. I must say, I saw improvement. The service was much better and the food was just as good as I remembered. I am a sucker for second chances and this place redeemed itself. I went from 3 to 5 stars.

It's been too long since I've had Smitty's wings. I got the House Rub, Garlic Parmesan and Congress (should now be Ambassador) BBQ flavors. Delicious! Good sized wings and fairly well priced. I should be back soon.

Top 2 wing place in town for sure. The wings are huge and now that they've got their wait time down for your food from about 45 min to under 15 minutes, there's even more reason to come back. You've got to have the Ragin Cajun Sweet Chili wing sauce and their house rub is also worth a try.

Their wings were the bomb!!! I went in yesterday to try their food because of the 6 wing deal every Wednesday. I ended up getting 12 of them and they were delicious. I will be there every Wednesday from now on. Smitty's Wings has a new customer.

Wings were great as always, food was out very fast on their busiest night of the week. The owner is always interacting with customers. I wish the employees would do their meetings and arguments out of earshot of customers. My only complaint about the last trip I made here.

Went have wings and beer with my wife. Wings were great but our server (Tess) was even better. She always made sure that we were taken of and has an awesome personality. We def will be back.

Good wings. I really like the breaded plain, they have a nice season to them. Service was very friendly.

I been going since the old location, had dates there. Friendly service and great wings. I gave the 5 because service is everything to me. Great tasting wings, went 2 days in a row tells you something!

Wings are great... I like the atmosphere, but I was not impress with their shrimp platter at all. The shrimps were the size you put in fried rice may be even smaller. The side salad consist of chopped lettuce and 3 small pieces of tomatoes. So other than the wings food quality is poor.

Ordered on waitr. Got my food and the burger smells and tastes like the char on a grill. Burnt smell, cheese on burger has a very bad taste. The only good thing was the appetizer pretzels. Fries are ok.

The wings here are large. This place has some of the best flavored sauce I've had from a wing spot. The owner kindly greeted us when we walked in and the young lady who waited on us is very kind. This place has a nice peaceful vibe. I will definitely be going back.

This place is awesome. Love the food and environment. Friendly staff. This has become my regular place to dine or just relax with friends to watch a game. A+

I had bad experience a couple of times but it was always on weekends. Now we go for lunch during the week only. Bailey rocks it! Wings are my favorite but sometimes I do get a burger with homemade chips. We've used the catering for wings and I've taken them to Alabama. Everyone always loves them! My only place for wings. If you had a bad experience I totally recommend weekdays before 3. You won't be disappointed!!

Well I'm very displeased with our first visit here. The atmosphere is nice and the TVs make it nice to relax and hang out. The service was terrible, our server was very nice (when she came around) I think she maybe came to check on us twice for the hour that we were here. I waited on my 2nd 2 for 1 beer for 30 minutes so I only got to get one round in because it was almost 8 when I got it. The bartender took atleast 5 shots since we sat down til we left. The salsa and queso was definitely from a jar (not terrible but just not what you expect at a restaurant). The food was pretty good and decent pricing. Definitely would get new or more of a waiting staff because that was the worst customer service I've seen in a while. I do not recommend going and most likely will not be back.

I try to make it every week to this fine establishment. Perfect they are not, but consistantly this place has the best wings in town!!! Ragin Cajun Sweet Chili traditional wings with a Ragin Cajun Ale! FTW!!

I went to Smitty's for the 1st time yesterday, always wanted to stop by because I love wings...so happy I did...best wings in Lafayette

Got lunch here a couple times this month, never had it before. I will say I enjoyed the wings, but what pisses me off is the $8 i spent on Walmart Queso and the $5 for some fucking Pace salsa striaght out of a jar. Ripoff. Makes me wonder what quality the chicken really is.

Very good service, very unique sauce for your wings, wings are always fresh, more meat than bread on the wings, small laid back environment... by far the BEST wings I've ever eaten!

I go there often.. never had a bad experience.. can't comment on anything other than the wings because I love wings and they have the best wings in Lafayette.
