Review Reve Coffee Lab - Lafayette

Update Fall 2023: the renovations at Reve are nice. It was much easier for us to find seats. The menu was clearly visible. On this sunny morning, we saw umbrellas being used at the patio tables. The drinks were excellent. Parking was easy to find along the tree-shaded street. Older: Coffee and spiced chai tea were fabulous! It was a little confusing at first ordering and picking up. There was no current menu that I could see. The place is dog-friendly and has a lovely, relaxing patio that could use some umbrellas for shade. Enjoyed the afternoon.

First time here Baristas we’re very help in what to recommend. In Texas Dutch Bros. And 151 are my favs. Here I asked something similar to an Irish kicker and was not disappointed.

This place is a great place for hangout, have a good coffee with your companions. Excellent coffee blends, delicious pastry..even though the menu is quite limited but can't complain with the coffee, services, atmosphere. Sitting inside can be limited but in a warm nice day its so amazing if you sit outside. Loved the place and now favorite place to hanging out with friends 😄😄😄

Coffee is great, roasted in-house. The rest is all good. Been to two locations already and I like both.

Without a doubt the best coffee that you’re going to taste in the River Ranch area! The location is lovely, the customer service is excellent, and the espresso is phenomenal! If you’re in the area and considering giving it a try, go for it!

Great coffee shop with friendly service and really good espresso. It’s a bit tightly packed so it can be tough to find a spot to work in.

Am amazed bout this place. I found it by chance... as i was looking for cafès... found their lavender cappuccino Is a MUST TRY They serve in real espresso or cappuccio cups I always had a good experience in gastronomy while in LA. LAFAYETTE is a small yet big town with a gastronomy that only Louisiana can offer.

Nice location - lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Only offer 12 oz sized lattes. Have oatmilk. Scones to go are put in a box with napkins and silverware so if you don't want all that waste just ask for a bag instead. Nice staff.

If you are looking for your morning cup of coffee, this local coffee shop has much more. As a coffee shop I love those place and their roasts. What this place also has is amazing food. Seriously the food here is on another level. The coffee is amazing and the breakfast options rotate. I personally suggest the egg in a basket and the honey butter biscuit. I currently live in the Houston metro and expressed to the staff that I was struggling to find a similar coffee shop. The owner personally came over to give me his suggestions and the staff is very friendly.

Excellent environment and an equally excellent selection of coffee! The coffee is obviously similar to the location in downtown, but the gelato and the pastries definitely make it worth coming by! They have made recent renovations to the seating which broadened their capacity significantly to host more customers.

Very friendly welcome and acknowledgement. Good funfetti scone. Bitter kyoto nitro coffee, but the dirty chai was great!

One of my very favorite coffee shops! Their seasonal drinks are thoughtful and so fun to try, and whoever is in charge of the baked goods knows what they're doing. I highly recommend the blueberry biscuits if they have them. The baristas are very knowledgeable and helpful, and made some great recommendations on beans for me to bring home.

Visited the Reve at white star market in Baton Rouge. It is by far the best coffee I have had in my lifetime! Love it!

Best Coffee place hands down! Did I mention the owner is nice! Yep sometimes he is in there working! Won't see that at the BIG box coffee shops! Pastry Chef makes the best breakfast treats! My favorite is Nutty Professor! Try it out you won't regret it!

In a world where Starbucks seems to reign supreme and we are so busy with our day-to-day lives that we forget how nice it is to go to a place that takes the time and care to enjoy/perfect their craft, get to know their customers, and offer a consistent product with consistent customer service, The Lab stands out from the rest. Not only does this locally owned and operated business have some of the best coffee drinks and selection for the caffeine junkie in all of us, it's also run by a great businessman who hired some of the friendliest and most genuine staff there is. Whether it be for a quick drink on your way to work or a leisurely visit with a good friend on their pet-friendly patio, you can't go wrong with Thomas and his staff at The Lab!

Exceptional local coffee outlet with distinct preparations for their drinks that you'll never find at a regional nor national chain. Consistent baristas compared to the high roll-over rates of big name cafes should tell you the quality experienced on both sides of the counter. A must-see for non-locals and regular patrons alike.

The coffee is hands down the best in Lafayette. And the owner and staff are fabulous.

Ok I usually don't put anything negative.. because we love coffee shops & We loved the Lab.. but when you play music that very distasteful & vulgar.. maybe the last time we go.. and I hope that more people will stand up because this is not necessary.. The coffee was great but please choose your music wisely !!!

Went to get an affogato. Surprised to find they carry Acalli Chocolate, which is made by the sister of one of my Tulane classmates. I get to chatting with the guy at the counter about it, and he asks me where I'm from. I mention I'm from Puerto Rico, and he mentions how he had a coworker from Culebra who would not stop going on about how amazing the beaches are in Culebra. I, of course, also mentioned that they are indeed amazing. He just says "I know, she wouldn't stop going on about it" Good times in Lafayette. Definitely coming back next time I'm town. ...but really, Culebra's beaches are some of the best in the world. Oh, and the affogato was pretty good too.
