They represent well at this location. Friendly service, everything was great. Want 5 stars Popeye’s? Start serving fried okra. Customers want it, we’ll buy it. Back home I have to make two stops on fried chicken take out night just so I can grab some fried okra at another place.

Speedy and great service. Food was tasty too. We came back twice. Drive thru was simple and our order was correct. Easy transaction and the food was hot. Lovely staff too.

Even though we had to wait for chicken everything was fresh and the young gentleman who took my order also brought my food out. He was very mannerable and made sure I had everything before he walked away. Service was excellent

Popeye's has great food,just when you want to use a Coupon,the date to little&y'all eating Chicken,Chicken Sandwiches,Shrimps,Good Red Beans and you want to check my expiration date🤣,Girl I go on the app and pull up an up to date one,then give me 5 seconds,bc y'all prices went up!!😝😘Where is the Love🫶I spend $40-50 dollars when I go,but just myself,I use a coupon if nobody else is interested that day!

Lots more popcorn shrimp here than other locations. Super friendly staff. Quick service with a smile 😀

Very friendly staff. I got the buffet. It was $11.10 with the drink. All the food was fresh and the bar was full. Chicken both spicy and mild, red beans, green beans, biscuits, cajun rice, coleslae, chicken livers and more were available. Nice seating area. Restaurant was clean and neat. The location was very easy to find. Ill be back again . wish we had one where i live.

Without a doubt the best Popeye's we have been to. Have traveled several times cross country this one is the best. The people working there were very kind. If only all fast food places were like this one...Great job!

We bought a 3 pc chicken tender meal & a buffet for Makaio Olsen. Kai started whining and busa gave him 1-2 bites of mashed potatoes because he is mostly breastfed and doesn’t fill up on solids. She lost her temper and screamed at us across the dining room,<br/>“DON’T BRING YOURSELF BACK UP TO THE BUFFET!” instead of walking up to our table and informing us that it was against the rules to share with a baby. Busa went back up to the buffet & asked why he couldn’t eat anything else & she said “ BECAUSE IM WATCHING YOU FEED THAT BABY” I understand not sharing with other adults, but to make a scene over 1-2 bites of mashed potatoes is craziness. She could’ve just said she understands that most buffets are free under 2 but theirs is not, smh. I called and asked to speak to the manager and turns out, she was the manager so I asked her “why do you hate your life?” & she hung up and said<br/>“ I’m right here, come over here, fight me and show me i hate my life”<br/>She proceeded to call the cops on us because we were “stealing“ the food & told them I threatened her life. Messy. Dirty. Poor Staff. Below average food (old, room temperature, etc) despite what should be standard food as a franchise location. One of the few Popeyes that has a buffet. But all in all, a bad Popeyes location all around.

Buffet was not a Buffet when.... Hi my husband, a friend and I went to eat at popeye's in Lafayette, LA around 3 pm 5/25/14, the buffet hours are 10 am to 8 pm. When we got there and all ordered the buffet. On the buffet to chose from were about 5 pieces of mild fried chicken and about 6 pieces of spicy fried chicken, 3 biscuits, some fried chicken livers, mashed potatoes - container 20%, gravy 25%, green beans 40% and a few containers of coleslaw. There were on desserts, the corn was not available. We feel we did not get our money's worth since all the items were not available. I feel sorry for folks who may have gone in around 6 pm, probable nothing left to choose and got charged the full price of around $8.00 plus tax. Poor excuse of a buffet today, would not have gotton any tip today. I was totally disappointed in this restaurant today and I was really looking forward to eating a delicious meal with dessert.

Worst restaurant in town. Service sucks and food is always cold. If you want fried chicken I would go to Fat Alberts. Service and chicken are so much better its not even funny.

The Food Alright...The Customer Service: A fright!. I'll start with the good news first! The food I just ordered was fresh and delicious! The bad news was that the Drive thru employee named Dena was also fresh! Now, I understand that this is a fast food establishment and I know that quotas are set as far as how long orders should take. Trust me, I'm not being unreasonable when I say that I was rudely rushed and interrupted when placing my order. I don't speak slow, and I only placed an order for one combo meal! However, Dena talked so fast that she sounded ridiculous and wouldn't even let me get a word in...When I asked a question, it was ignored with the same redundant statement..Is that all? As if the paying customer is an inconvience to her. Also keep in mind that it was almost 9:00pm and there were no other vehichles in line. I could maybe understand a sense of urgency during a busy rush. However, the customer being rushed in a rude tone is NEVER acceptable! I've worked 10 years in the customer service industry, five of those years in the food industry and I can honestly say that the way I was treated is uncalled for. If I would have treated a customer that way, I would have been written up or fired. What really put the cherry on top of the sundae was when I finally approached the window and was given a dirty look mixed with a smart ass smirk. I just don't understand why people like her even apply if they hate their jobs that much! After tonight I really doubt that I will go back to this location. I have had other instances at this location where I was treated less than fair but have brushed it off. This was the last straw! If management is reading this, please stop hiring rude employees that hate the food industry! I guess I will just have to drive across town next time and give the other location a chance!

As a big popeyes fan, I was not pleased!! Sweet tea and fountain drinks all tasted old! Chicken strips were fresh and spicy, but the shrimp tasted like it's been stored "in the cashier's shoe" as my girlfriend said. An the staff wasn't even pleasant.

Tasty fried chicken. This is the better location of Popeye's on the Southside of Lafayette. The employees, while not always the friendliest, do manage to get the orders right most of the time. When you order to go or off the menu, the food is usually hot and appears fresh. However, the buffet is hit or miss...sometimes they have only a couple of pieces of chicken out and you can tell they have been sitting there a wile.
