It warms my heart how the owner responds to negative reviews. The donuts are amazing, they taste like REAL old fashioned donuts. I only get glaze and not only are the donuts huge, they taste like time is being taken to make sure the donut itself is fried perfectly and they’re not relying on heaps of glaze frosting to make them taste good! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My brother and I ordered an apple fritter and a half dozen mixed. I enjoyed the apple fritter, different, about 4 out 5 for that one. The mix box had a glazed donut, very very good, full 5 out 5. Two of the mixed had a chocolate covering and I was not impressed with the chocolate, 3 out 5. The cake donuts are good, 5 out 5. Cinnamon donut didn't do it for me, 3 out 5. The other sweet donut was great at 5 out 5. I would definitely go again for the glazed donuts, but would be reluctant on some of the others.

We normally love Meches. Every time we are in town, we make sure to stop by. I've never been to this location before, but I had made a phone order to special request two king cakes with Blue and White icing for our wedding as my husband's groom cake per his request. When we picked them up the day before the wedding (which was out of town), the icing was blue, white, AND RED AND YELLOW! The note attached to the receipt showed special request was ONLY blue and white so why did all the extra colors come in to play I dont know. So we didnt even display them like they were supposed to be, we just had them on the dessert tables instead. Other than that. The flavors were there, the freshness we always come back for was there, we really do love Meches, but they definitely let us down on one of our biggest moments as a couple.

If I had only gotten the glaze donuts, my rating would have been a 5. I ordered a apple fritter and 6 mixed donuts. The glaze was off the charts good. The 2 different chocolate covered....well I hoped for better, it is the run of the mill donut chocolate covering. As for the other 3 donuts, 2 different style cake donuts and 1 cinnamon sugar donut. The cinnamon sugar was a bit too much sugar for us. I can say none of the donuts were dry or hard. For me, next time I will only order the glaze.

They serve warm, delicious, glazed donuts, if you go before they are all gone. Good to know they don't fry them in soybean oil, as i'm allergic to soy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My wife loves the cream cheese filled donuts as well as the giant cinnamon rolls. Kolaches are good too. I tend to get the glazed and the cake donuts. I haven't had good donut like this and do travel a bit. I like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin but Meche's is my favorite.

Will be my last time ever ordering from this location. Ordered a king cake over the phone. My mom picked up the cake. When she dropped it to me order was wrong. Called the place to let them know being that I lived 45 min away and was not going to turn right around and bring it back. Lady basically said night shift make the cakes and wasn’t there fault it was wrong. Should have offered to make cake over. But instead said can bring the cake back and they can just add whatever was missing. To make matters worst Manager in back ground making smart remarks basically saying if dnt want to drive back then dnt expect anything else. This was there mistake not mine. Matter should have been handled much more professionally!!!
