Review Schlotzsky's - Lafayette

As usual, today's visit was fantastic! My most difficult part is deciding which of the delicious sandwiches I want that particular day. Today I landed on the "Pick Two". I order a 1/2 Original Sandwich (which is based off of a muffaletta style sandwich) on Jalapeno Cheese bread, and some Brisket Mac & Cheese. I've had the Original many times but this was my first time trying the Brisket Mac. It was all perfect! Service was great. Owner was working and worked to make sure each guest was taken care of. Ladies brought the food out from the back with a smile. Food arrived quickly and hot. Plenty of seating. MANY choices of sandwiches, personal size pizzas, salads, soups, flat breads, chips and Cinnabon as well! Sodas, lemonades and teas. Also has a private seating area that could be used for meetings are gatherings. Clean bathrooms and nice bright feel inside. I would definitely recommend trying Schlotzsky's Deli on Johnston St (or Pinhook)!!

Service was quick. They have a lot of hot sauces and a large drink selection.

The chicken and bacon sandwich on jalapeno cheese bread is flat out phenomenal! I'm not a big fan of sandwiches in general, but the hot, fresh baked bread and thin sliced chicken are perfect together. The service here is great too. Very friendly and kind people! Recommended!

I go there often with my friend. The food is reasonably priced. The service is always good. It is a great place to meet and eat if you want to hear your conversation and respond without wondering if someone heard you. Although the management has changed, the service stayed the same. It's never packed and people are always friendly.

Probably the best service and the most fresh sandwiches I've enjoyed at any Schlotzsky's in a long while. My only gripes are that the drink bar needed some attention, the restrooms needed the be cleaned a little better and they were out of an item I would have liked to order BUT I left there happy which seems to be a rarity at any restaurant lately.

More than just a sandwich shop. Great soups, salads and pizzas too. And, of course Cinnabons. The bread is always fresh and the food made to order. The Jalapeño chips are the best chip ever! If they sold them in a large size bag I’d be a happy camper:) The app gives you free stuff to begin then allows you to earn as you go. My dog was with me yesterday so I used the drive through. The ladies at the window were so sweet to her. They even gave her a cup with a handful of dog treats! They truly cater to the entire family!!

Different and the best...... This place has great food and great employees. They want to make the customer happy. They go out of the way. Not your ordinary sandwich either... Great.

They have great sandwiches. They have choices for a coupon card you can get. They have public bathrooms and a drive-thru. There bread they use makes the sandwich even better and they have great cookies. There are many choices of drink there and inside seating.

Great, fresh food, and a clean, well maintained place. Staff is always very nice. There's great variety on the menu. and I've never ordered anything that I didn't like.

I love Schlotzsky's! The half sandwich half pizza option is perfect for me. All the food I've tried has been delicious, and they have cinnabon so that's a big plus. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the area where they keep straws and utensils looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. I went to grab a coffee stirring stick and the bottom of that cup holder made me actually gasp out loud. It was grimey and sticky! Bleh. But the food and service is otherwise great

The food is consistent and tasty. It has a large menu variety as well. The service isn't the nicest, but it's not rude by any means and is very quick.

Visited at 2/14 , the cashier was very nice and polite

I just love the sandwiches here! They are SO my better than other sandwich shops. I look forward when we visit Lafayette so I can grab me one of their superb sandwiches. My mouth is watering for one now. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Unique Sandwich Shop. I would describe their sandwiches like this: Think customizable Muffalatas. My favorite is the original deluxe. Deluxe means extra meat. the original has ham, genoa salami and cotto salami, melted cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses layered with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and our signature dressing on a toasted Sourdough bun. The black olives and the cheeses are melted together onto the bun, very tasty.

Deliciously different. My sister worked at Schlotzsky's for quite a few years starting in high school. Back then she got a free sandwich every night and I would wait for her to get home to share it with me. My favorite has always been the ham and cheese (on jalapeno cheese bread). The franchise owners Ted and Cindy are just really nice people and work hard to maintain the quality of their food. Schlotzky's sandwiches are a bit more expensive than say, Subway but they are so much better!!

Good food, quick, clean, pricey for "fast" food

Good Food but Pricey and they get you on the Extras!. A friend and I ate here for lunch today, and I have to say that I really enjoyed my sandwich... I had a medium beef and bacon club and he had the large roast beef both of us got chips and a drink and the total for two at lunch was $26 w/o tip...<br/><br/>As impressed as I was with the flavor of the food, I tend to thik that 20+ dollars for lunch at a deli (where you recieve no table service) is a little high... Its not that I cant afford it once in a while but for a daily lunch that is more than I personally want to spend.<br/><br/>I find that this resturant is at the upper end of what US classifies as one $ and that by the time that they nickel and dime you for chips and a drink that you are really looking at a two $$ price tag for lunch.<br/><br/>I would like to see them have some specials for lunch so that their priceing would come more in line with other sandwich places, but oh well...<br/><br/>End the end, I had to vote it thumbs up because both times that I have visited this establishment I have enjoyed what I had to eat, but due to the price range I probably won't be back for a while...<br/><br/>RMG
