First time here. Glad we came (lunch group). Had the special, Hamburger Steak. Comes with corn bisque, green beans, and new potatoes. My only critique, tad salty. Server was great and food came out quick. Will be back.
Excellent burgers, not much more to say. Will be going back to try more off the breakfast side of the meau.
We were in Lafayette visiting family. We generally eat breakfast out. We searched Google and found this quaint little place. Everything was great food service atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Ema’s breakfast menu is excellent! Kind-hearted servers and a cozy dinning area make for a delicious breakfast. The beignets are melt in your mouth good. I highly recommend stopping in for them.
The restaurant is small but the flavor is big. Menu consists of a mix of pasta and seafood dishes with salads and burger options as well. Their paper menus has a lunch side and a breakfast side so plenty of options. Never had a bad meal there. A good place to bring friends for a lunch somewhere less
Beignets are the best around in my opinion. Everything we had was fantastic. Especially recommend the Crab cake Bennie and the Cajun Bennie!
One of my favorites in Lafayette! Quite, full of beautiful art! A unique atmosphere! White table clothes, excellent service, 5* service!! Perfect for brunch and meeting friends.

I've only ever had breakfast here, service is always good, food is ready fast. They have always accommodated our large company group and served us all very quickly.
We always enjoy Ema's Café: great food, wonderful people, more than decent atmosphere. We generally go there for breakfast, but I have never gotten food at that place where it wasn't excellent. Also, even when the place is rocking and rolling the way it was this morning, one doesn't feel too crowded
This is a quaint little full service restaurant that had an impressive menu of combination food items and the service was excellent! We did order our beignets to go, as well as a beignet combo breakfast and it was excellent!
Great place to enjoy a good breakfast or brunch. Reasonably priced. The ham and cheese croissant is delicious.
