Review Reve Coffee Roasters - Lafayette

We love Reve and try to come here anytime we make a trip to Lafayette! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the service is always so friendly. My biscuit just needed some honey, and the breakfast wrap just wasn’t what we expected. But my drip coffee was good, and my wife loved her cortado! We’ll be back very soon, and we’ll be sure to pick up a bag of beans on our way out. P.S. Dear Reve: please bring back the veggie hummus wrap. It was our favorite, and we would pay anything for the recipe!

A must visit place in Lafayette downtown. Very rare to see a coffee shop where they roast their coffee beans in the back. Spoke with the owners, really nice people and they care about their guests. Place is really cool to have coffee, tea, and pastries. Restrooms are clean 👌 (good job kn that). Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Ooo yummy and fun and convenient! Fun atmosphere and nice location for a coffee shop. We both had the Voodoo coffee and look how fun it comes out - you can mix it to your liking! The cardamon cake had a lovely flavor and the blueberry biscuit was enormous!

A very picturesque place near the downtown area in Lafayette… this place’s location is ideal for a quick stop and a quick caffeine boost, however, if you want to enjoy a nice cup of Joe together with a freshly baked snack, you are at the right address with this nice little coffee place!! They dress the coffee very nicely 😁!!

Great coffee and cocktail shop. I love that the have unique and interesting drinks and bakery items. The only issue is that they allow non service animals inside. Unfortunately, I had my delicious Peaches and Cream biscuit ate by a dog in the shop. It happened extremely fast and the dog was extremely big. The dogs owner order me another item yet, I left with dog hair all of my items due to customers petting the animal.

Big fan of Reve! Cozy atmosphere and very aesthetic. Coffee and food are always delicious! So good I’ve even started buying bags of their beans to have at home! The staff feels like family, everyone is so kind and welcoming. I am always greeted with a huge smile when I walk in! Also, love trying out their specialty drinks of the season!

Friendly warm atmosphere. Great coffee and wonderful selection of other eats and drinks. Employees are spectacular. Highly recommend you stop by if you’re anywhere near here. Edit: 2 years later this place is consistently outstanding.

Lovely hidden gem! My husband and I stopped by here for breakfast while on a road trip, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! This coffee roaster definitely knows what they are doing and they do it well. The interior is unique and very bright, with lots of seating options and windows. Their cortado is by far the best one I’ve had in Louisiana and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality coffee shop in Louisiana!

This place is too cool. Their bean roaster can be seen in the back...and the staff seemed full of energy. I had the Kenya roast, black. When it arrived, it was the perfect hot temperature for drinking and it was delicious.

My sister raved about Reve's (she called it "Rev's) because her daughter-in-law had taken her there on several occasions, and she is somehow associated with the owners of the business. I was happy to accommodate her, because the landscape of downtown Lafayette has changed dramatically since my time working at the now defunct Daily Advertiser. I was curious. I was taken by the welcoming and casual vibe. We met right about opening time, so there was a nice influx of people coming and going on this Sunday morning. It is an open cozy space with windows overlooking the street, outdoor tables and inside, a variety of tables, counter seating and area of cushioned seating in the corner. Immediately at the entrance to the right is a shelf dedicated to resources - business cards and pamphlets for anything from dating to plumbing services. The menu is simple and the focus is coffee and beverages. When I saw kale chips and avocado toast on the menu, I felt like I standing in a Los Angeles restaurant, where these items are just normal on many menus. If I were asked to describe this restaurant, I would say hip and trendy as the pastries are little more than usual blueberry muffins and croissants. I chose cafe au lait and sausage biscuit. It was tasty and the bread was so moist that each bite I took, the bread separated, but little small considering the cost. A far cry from other breakfast focused eateries in downtown Lafayette, but it has character - an eclectic decor of modern and abstract art, a map the world in brick background wall, hanging plants, a skylight and suspended lighting. It was good choice for the occasion - catching up with family I had not seen in very long time who were leaving to go home after breakfast. It was fun and different from the bustling downtown I knew so many years ago. Although there is metered parking on both Cypress and Jefferson, you can park free across the street at post office snd transportation center. No worries about being ticketed or towed. Very unique place in downtown Lafayette!

This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. The staff is always extremely friendly and patient. Because this is a rooster, the coffee is extraordinary.

Honestly, no offense to Lafayette…., but I’m surprised to find such a good coffee shop here. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere/music is too.
