I've never been there. We arrived at around 2 or 3pm, it was quiet. Server was excellent and attentive. The food was AMAZING. The art is tasteful and the decor is well done. Even the heat from the hot water when you wash hands in the bathroom was at a very comfortable, but effective level. The restrooms were clean and it's overall one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time. Will go back!

I moved from Louisiana to South Florida about a year ago, & I was so surprised to find delicious Cuban food like I am used to now in SoFlo, in Lafayette! Sooooo good! Loved the plantains!
Cafe Habana City is such a gem in Lafayette! Always delicious and decent portion size. They used to host Latin dance nights as well, but I'm not sure they're doing those anymore. Overall, great food and great vibe. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and my favorite is the ropa vieja.
The savoriest most succulent lechon asado I’ve ever had. So glad to have this spot in Lafayette

Fantastic service and quick too. The food was delicious and very thankful to the waitress who helped us make some decisions. Got the beef croquettes and maripositas for starters. Both delicious and filling. We then got some quick sandwiches - the Media Noche is so amazing.
It’s very well priced for all the food you get! I would highly recommend stopping here.
Cuban comfort food. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had Cuban food this good. I had Pollo a la barbacoa, maduritos, and frijoles negros. Also, a Bumbu mojito and tres leches to go. This place is 2 miles from where I'm staying, so I will definitely be back. Please do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed.
I’ve passed by here a hundred times wanting to go through the drivethru but was always nervous because I never saw anyone else in the drivethru. If you feel the same, please conquer your fear and do it. Mind you, I think they cook the food to order so you need to set aside about 10 minutes. The young girl who took my order at the window was so nice. The food was DEFINITELY worth the wait. I forget the exact name of what I got but it was chicken cooked with citrus. I got the rice and beans and fried yuca. It was so good I nearly cried in my car while eating. I absolutely demolished it. Can’t believe I let my fear get in the way of me trying this gem after all these years. I will obviously be back
