This is great place for lunch. Its about $15 a person, not including dessert. It's buffet style and has a higher priced seafood buffet on Fridays. Everyone I know really likes the praline chicken. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I believe they close at 2 pm. Monday through Friday, it's definitely worth a try.

Dessert is now included with the buffet. I've eaten here several times and it has always been excellent. The atmosphere is unique and inviting. The servers are attentive. A great place to take someone for a nice quick lunch.

Great buffet. My girlfriend loved the praline chicken and had several heaping portions of it. Other classics include gumbo and red beans and rice. Salad bar was good with fresh and delicious caprese and Caesar salad. Be sure to leave room for dessert-bread pudding and cobbler!

We've very had several Regional meetings there for years. Food is always fresh and delicious. The entire venue is Very reasonably priced. The Team is proficient and they always go above and beyond to ensure we are all pleased- every time. I can't say enough nice things about Abacus! We will be back for our quarterly meetings!

Great place for lunch! Praline chicken is amazing. Convenient location, friendly staff, clean, buffet has wide variety of choices, excellent salad bar, and numerous after dinner desert options. Highly recommend!

Local colleagues took me here for lunch during a visit to Lafayette.
I believe they only open for lunch and its a set price buffet style deal. They offered starters, main buffet, and desert options. The food itself was excellent.
Overall the food and service was great but it's really way too much food for regular lunch but if that's your thing you'll enjoy it.

The food is great every day but on the Friday I was there it was the bomb. I started with the best seafood gumbo I've ever eaten. Then I had the shrimp and egg stew with fried catfish. This combination was awesome to say the least. The praline chicken will surely put a smile on your lips. The salad bar is the greatest. Did I mention the gumbo? Don't want to miss nutin. Wish I could talk about the dessert but I was too full to try. I spotted a large piece of pecan pie looking at me like if to say come here, I know you want me. And I did. But I had to break her heart. Maybe next time. Y'all got to try this place.

Fairly nice place ceiling needs some tlc food was average jambalaya was wet and under seasoned fried fish and sandwiches where good. Bar staff was great. Very good bloody mary.

At lunch, for about the price you'd pay for just a bowl of gumbo most places, they have a soup and salad bar that includes some of the best chicken sausage gumbo around. (The gumbo varies a bit from day to day; pretty much between good and excellent.) For a few dollars more, you can add additional main course buffet options (but we come mainly for the gumbo).

This is a great lunch spot if you're in the area. They serve their banquet food in a lunch buffet at a very reasonable price. Food was good and they have some signature dishes that are great. The pecan chicken is a must have.
