Review Bonefish Grill - Lafayette

Recently visited for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the ambiance here. Well decorated with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. What surprised me was the chefs Coates that all the servers were wearing which was a great touch. The server was attentive and funny. Even as I ordered a dish with the meat on the side she followed the instructions. The portions were a little small but the taste of the meal was on point. The small loaf of bread that comes to the table tasted great with the pesto dip. Prices for the menu items were fair and they do offer a Veterans discount, so my hats off to Bonefish for this. I would recommend this Pacific Island fusion place for anyone who wants to try a little something different.

Kerie was our waitress and she talked me into the sea bass. What a delightful first experience thee and with the sea bass! I can go on and on about the food. Everything we ordered was great! The starter was a seafood mix with tortillas (I don’t remember the name) but it was the best appetizer I’ve ever eaten and creamy spinach was great. My husband wasn’t so brave he got shrimp tacos and fries but he said it was good too 🤷‍♀️.

We are local and have been to BF many many times over the years. We always ask for Eva, she's our girl! Recently we visited and was in the bar area for a celebration. It was so much fun that we all agreed when we had another birthday get together to go back to BF. There was no doubt we were going to BF, food was great and with a large group, no complaints, one of many consistent nights. Eva was knowledgeable, kind and prompt with our cocktails. What an asset to BF to have her! She was training new people and looked like a good teacher. I don't leave reviews all the time but when I see excellence, I like to point it out. With all the new places opening you need to be sure and keep her! Thank you BF and Eva very much.

I've always heard about this place but never took the time to go. I wanted to have a really nice sit down lunch with my mom. We had an amazing time!! The waitress was super sweet and amazing. She recommended her favorites to us, as we'd never eaten there before. She didn't mind that it took us a while to eat or order. We ordered smokey old fashioned drinks and she did this really cool thing where the smoke billowed. My mom and I really enjoyed ourselves and a large part was because of her great personality. The food itself was delicious!! We ordered calamari and bang bang shrimp for an appetizer. We were also served bread and a lovely pesto type dipping oil. My mom got the lobster tails as her main and I had mahi mahi and shrimp. When the waitress told us that the food would have a wood grill taste, she wasn't lying! My fish was so flavorful!! My mom and I each got the creamy spinach and roasted asparagus as a side and they were delicious! We were even served coffee after our meal. It was such a great time! The price was a little more than we usually spend but we were treated so well and the food was amazing. Totally worth the price. Definitely -the- place to go if you want to enjoy a more fine dining experience.

Service was a little slow. I realize that is the new norm at many restaurants. I think there was one waitress working the entire restaurant. Thankfully not many tables had people. I ordered my Bang Bang shrimp sautéed but it came out fried. Waitress did offer to fix but I hate wasted food so ate it. lots of shrimp and tasty as always. My watermelon Marini was delicious and my friend loved her salmon. Bonefish is quite consistent with the quality of their food.

It's always a pleasant experience. Service, food, and atmosphere are always great. Our waitress was personable and attentive, and our food and drinks were delicious. This is one of our favorite date night spots.

Love there blackened chicken Caesar and creamed spinach. Great bar and great for business lunch. 100% recommend to my mom and friend.

First time trying Bonefish Grill & it was absolutely DELICIOUS! The sirloin & shrimp entree was my choice, and I do not regret choosing it! The shrimp tastes the freshest I've had in a while. The steak couldn't have been cooked better. It was PERFECT. I recommend Bonefish Grill to everyone, especially seafood lovers!! Our waitress was very sweet and served us in a timely manner. The hostess was very helpful and quick to get us a booster seat for my little ones. I can't wait to try the lobster next visit!

3 fish tacos with a side of chowder was fantastic! Tuna Asian style also great. Bread with olive oil was a hit too. Awesome service too.

Yesterday was my mom's 62nd birthday and i treated her to dinner. The food was delicious, the wine was great and the staff was very professional!. I really enjoyed my time here and please tell Andy, my waitress that she did an excellent job.

We love Bonefish❤️ we were celebrating my daughter’s white coat ceremony. It was a Tuesday night, not crowded . Highlights = waiter Joshua was good. We had hiccups with our food being correct after repeated confirmation of order. Food was good drinks were good they took some time to come out. Had issue with manager after asking for one dish to be fixed. Manger took plate of food and went in kitchen throwing the plate and whole table heard. Food was fixed waiter apologized. The manager should have been better…. We will still go to bonefish but beware of short haired blonde manager.

It has been years since I have been to Bonefish Grill, and my "welcome back" to this eatery was AWESOME! (6-5-20) A lot of the GREAT VIBES at this eatery were DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTED TO THE WAITRESS ISIS!!! This LOVELY young lady made dining at this restaurant a very great experience for me (and my boyfriend). I am sure that management would be very pleased to know that Isis has great hospitality skills. She is observant: making her rounds and checking on her customers in a timely manner, as well as, being accommodating to making sure the meal is as expected/to our liking. I enjoyed my order of crab cakes and Lily's chicken. The steak dinner was very satisfying for my boyfriend, too. He asked for blue cheese, and our waitress informed him that she could actually take his order back and have the blue cheese kinda melted atop/onto the steak--that was really nice of her to make that suggestion! Isis is a stellar individual. Thank you Bonefish Grill for picking great individuals to be part of your staff!

Tried this place for my anniversary it was good I liked it but my husband wanted a steak but the closest thing they had was fillet migmon but every thing else was good staff was friendly place was very clean.

Food was amazing and were served quickly as usual. Manager was very polite and professional. The swordfish with pumpkin ravioli is a must!

The food was amazing. The pricing for the type of food that is served there was very reasonable. The service was exceptional!! Our waiter was very attentive and he had great people skills. He was very down to earth but ultra professional. It was our first time there. We took my mother to eat there for her birthday and we were not disappointed.

Visited Bonefish Grill on a Sunday afternoon to feast on some yummy food! They never fail to satisfy!! We ordered the Bang Bang shrimp, the Grilled Tilapia and the Sirloin Steak. The Bang Bang shrimp was pretty much spot on. It is fried shrimp in a sauce. I love the sauce, though I get a bit giddy when I eat too much of fried stuff, but I couldn't stop myself. The fish was pretty awesome. It tasted well and the grill was perfect. The sirloin was just amazing. I ordered mine Medium Rare. The potato and the fries went well with the steak. I was happy about the steak. The manager also gave us two bottles of complimentary champagne to celebrate our First anniversary along with a box of chocolates. This was a good gesture. Overall, loved the experience. Thumbs up.

We go every year for swordfish and pumpkin ravioli. This year was a big disappointment. The swordfish was overcooked and dry, there was no feta cheese on it, the ravioli wasn't the same. It had lots of gooey pumpkin oozing out, there was raw green onions on it instead of crispy kale or crispy onions. A huge disappointment. Hopefully they get their act together for next year.
