Review Another Broken Egg Cafe - Lafayette

Went here on 4th of July and was able to get seated very quickly. Food was excellent!! I got the cinnamon roll French toast with grits and eggs. Only downside I have is the drip coffee is $5!!!!!

This was our first time trying Another Broken Egg. And while we got to a table faster than anticipated, the wait for the food to arrive was a little long. They were pretty full, so it's to be expected. Tried the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes with scrambled eggs and pan sausage. The flavor combination was yummy: sweet, tart and creamy. I would've liked a little more goat cheese, however. The pancake itself, was a little tougher than I usually like, but I chuck it up to an off day. The eggs were delicious and the grits were tasty, too. Will reserve a spot ahead of time, next time and try the Apple Fritter french toast. Overall, it was nice.

Never disappointed. Food is so good and comes out perfect every time. The spiked coffee is delicious! The staff are friendly and very attentive. Usually get an omelet but wanted to try something different. Cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs and country potatoes.

My first visit here was such a wonderful experience....I could not wait to drive back to Lafayette. The food was delicious both times. There is an alcohol selection including special Holiday drinks, I am doing a round a visit on the drinks and will try a new one one each visit.

Everything about this place was Wonderful! From the location, to the restaurant decor, to the outstanding service was top-notch! And the food was extraordinary! From the pumpkin pancakes to the baked bacon, to their own sausage patty recipe (a hint of sweetness to it which was delicious) the fare excelled in flavor. First-timers get a free half-order of their beignets with a delectable sauce to go along with them. So very good together ❤️

The food was enjoyed by all! The shrimp & grits were made to perfection. Great flavor and creamy grits. French toast was a nice golden color and topped with the best whipped cream and strawberries!! Poached egg…chefs kiss!! We will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu.

Pros: The food was amazing, the cost was good and the mimosas were on point! Out waiter was very amicable and food service was not too long. Cons: The place is open half day and it is a 45 min wait typically. Upon arriving, after waiting 45mins we were told that the wait extended another 20mins. Luckily we were seated promptly.

I had the southern staple chicken and waffles, and they were delicious with kahlua coffee at the breakfast bar… the bartender was cute and funny. Good atmosphere, drinks, food, all good yall.

When we got there, they let us know that it would be a 45-minute wait. I was fine with it, but then an hour passed.will come to find out the host took down the wrong phone number, and I repeated to her .But overall, it was nice

Everything was delicious here! The lemon Blueberry French toast was the perfect amount of crispy edges and softness inside. It came with light and fluffy scrambled eggs and 2 slices of perfectly cooked bacon. After the waitress described a variety of grits, I had to order a side of City Grits. The grits you can tell were cooked low and slow as they were so creamy. To top it off they had cheese, bacon, green onion and tomato. To complete the meal I had a Lemon Blueberry Mimosa which absolutely was perfection! Our pleasant waitress Lisa was so friendly and went above and beyond with the descriptions and recommendations.

It was an hour and a half wait. Really took 1 hour and about 10mins. There was a lot of empty seating, which lead me to believe they are short staff. The food was worth the wait if you have time. Lots of shopping to be done while you wait bc they text you when your table is ready. I will be going back.

Went here for my birthday! The staff was so very friendly and very accommodating. The Lemon Blueberry Mimosa was delicious and boosy! The blue berry was sweet and brought the sparkling part of the mimosa to life. The Maker’s Mark Bourbon Tacos was apart of the seasonal special menu, only served for a limited time. I had the chicken as my protein. It was hot and well seasoned, juicy with flavor. The mango inside was a bit hard and slightly underripe. It made it hard to bite with the chicken. The potatoes were hot and crispy with flavor and went well with the broken egg pepper sauce! I honestly do not think it was worth the price. I have eaten here before and they usually always have delicious items that never disappoint.

great food and even better service. They really made our last meal in louisiana so memorable and a perfect end to the weekend trip. Would highly recommend their blueberry lemon mimosas, skinny omelette and cinnamon roll french toast

The food and drinks here are amazing and the service is just as amazing. They are so sweet and welcoming and so quick. We we're told a 45 minute wait and it was closer to 10. This is the perfect place to go for brunch with friends and/or family. The area is also really nice and fun to walk around while waiting to be seated or even after eating to help with the serving size
