Chris' Po-boys - Lafayette - Photo album

Clean building and nice staff. My friends came in to order their food and the transaction was handled with ease. We came on around 7:30 pm on a Monday night. We noticed someone sitting inside eating so we pulled up to go inside and order to go. My friends said their po- boy and gumbo was delicious
Wow, was the first thought in my mind when I took a bite of the Chris' special po boy. It's probably the best one I've ever had. So delicious, bread was crispy and fluffy. Meat was perfect, full of flavor and juicy beyond belief. Super reasonable price and quality friendly service. It's a can't miss
Tried the chicken and sausage gumbo on a cold day. It’s on the lighter roux side, but it’s real scratch gumbo. No chain restaurant boil in the bag rice. Real fluffy stuff. Potato salad is good enough too. I want to get a poboy one day but don’t want to fall asleep at my desk after lunch. The atmosph
This place is very good. The Po Boys are excellent and the gumbo makes me smile. If you get the full order Po Boy skip the chips because it is way too much food. This is my favorite place in town.
Split a shrimp poboy with my daughter here and ordered a side of fries. I liked that the cabbage on the poboy is very finely sliced. Good customer service and tasty food. There is no crab on their menu so if you're looking for a softshell crab poboy you won't find it here. Every other poboy you can
What a great place. The po of was amazing. I dont like thick bread on the a poboy, Chris's has figured out the right thickness, bread, and the right amount of time to toast the bread. The staff was quick to assist and happy to make a suggestion. Will stop in next time in town.
My friends suggested this place for gumbo, so I decided to give this place a shot. And let me tell you, they have the best chicken & sausage gumbo in Lafayette!! We had the following: -Chicken & Sausage Gumbo -Combination Platter - fried shrimp, fried oysters & fried catfish fillets -Fried Shrim
Really REALLY good food and great service. Wait staff is very friendly and cozy atmosphere of young and old. Food comes out quick every time even on busy days Got their gumbo this time instead of usual Poboys and it did not disappoint at all.
We stopped at Chris poor boys for lunch. This restaurant has a cozy ambiance everyone there were very friendly and hospitable. Our waiter Max was the best, he has great customer service and hospitality. We ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo it was really fresh and tasty. We also ordered the
I went after 2p. The waiter was attentive and the food was seasoned and hot. It was worth the trip.
This was my first time coming to Chris's. We came early enough on a weekday afternoon that it was pretty empty. That didn't last long. Th he menu is small. I chose a moufaletta. I don't know what everything else tastes like and probably never will. I am so honored on their moufaletta, I'd say i
Lived in Opelousas for several years and have gone to a lot of different places to eat but never even heard of Chris. The place is laid back, has good gumbo and salads. Server was so polite and nice - I wanted to adopt him. Reasonable rates, clean and good food. What more can you ask for? Seafo
Great po-boys and gumbo. Po-boys come with cabbage instead of the traditional lettuce, which gives a great crunch.
Was passing through town, staying at the Holiday Inn Express. Stopped for a Muffalata, it was huge and very tasty. Nice spot and friendly atmosphere.
The gumbo and muffaletas at this place are the best in Lafayette. And they know you gotta have the potato salad with the gumbo.
The Chris special fantastic so delicious I highly Recommend this Poboy is my favorite. Dad Ordered the muffuletta is another Excellent choice also my favorite
