Kind cake was great. Fresh and fluffy and the topping was perfect. At first I was disappointed in the amount of cream cheese, but once I ate a bit it was the perfect amount. It was just enough to add the right amount of flavor and not be overpowering. Defiant would go again.

Great pastries and bread. Bought a loaf of Raisin and one of Brioche along with a couple of eclairs. This is an old world style French bakery. If you're looking for some ultra-modern spot this isn't for you. It has been here for years and will be for years to come.
Pastries were outstanding, you can feel pretty greedy looking at all the choices. Best French dip I’ve ever had. The bread and au jus was something else— never had better!
