I had ordered a large pepperoni pizza with cheese crust a couple of days ago end the bread was super hard I didn’t even bother eating it but I also didn’t call the restaurant and let them know or even asked to remake it. Is it possible to get it remade? Is it too late ? Overall I love their pizza, really good and tasty

Love papa John's my favorite is the MEATs they mAnaged to put about every type of meat that you can think of on just one pizza the slice is to be served on a plate paired with a knife and fork being that it's so meaty if held just regular the slice would just fall over and and fold from all over he meat :)

The papa John's in Hillcrest staff is great. I had a bad experience at the location on Navajo so I will go out of my way to make sure to come to Hillcrest even though that it's a 12 minute drive I would rather go to location where the food's hot and people are polite in the tree you with respect

This location has, on several occasions, stunned me with their "above and beyond" customer service practices. Whether or not the concern was a result of a team member error, or my own error (yes, I've messed up my own order), they address it with authentic empathy and understanding, and the end result always exceeds my hope/expectation. We arrived in San Diego pretty late and a lot of places were either closed or closing so Papa Johns to the rescue. You can't ever go wrong with pizza. Thank goodness the pizza was cooked good I mean the middle wasn't all soggy like some places and the wings were awesome. We got buffalo and bbq and we devoured both. As for our pizza we got the stuffed crust, was soooo amazing with the garlic butter 🤤. I'd also like to say customer service was great, the two ladies helping us were very patient and really nice. Great customer service is always a major plus!

From at least 2017-2020 (and probably before) This Papa john's seems to have some of the nicest and most polite employees of any establishment in San Diego.
It's very refreshing. I wish other businesses would treat their customers like this.
The pizza is always exactly what you'd want when you want from a Papa John's, but that's not the reason for the 5 stars.

The staff was so sweet the moment I came in! Very nice customer service. My friend was sick in the parking lot and they were concerned if she was okay and even gave me some plastic bags for my car in case she threw up again. They were the nicest crew ever! Also the pizza was fresh and so delicious! We ordered pizza and garlic knots with garlic sauce!! So amazing!!
