Be aware: there’s apparently a policy that everyone who enters must buy something. Had some friends accompany me who were not going to drink and just wanted to be included in the hangout and they were made very uncomfortable for not getting anything. We ended up leaving because of the weird atmosphere that was created. Bartender was nice not to charge me for my partially finished drink since friends weren’t buying anything and I was leaving with them. Have had great times at this place previously with one of the friends who happened to choose not to get anything this time. They’re not comfortable coming here again after that and I honestly don’t blame them. It appeared to be a slow night as well which made the attitude all the more baffling. Weird situation this time but like I said, I have had previous good experiences so don’t write the place completely off. If you have people in the group not intending to get anything and just wanting to hang out with the rest of the group, maybe opt to go somewhere else.

My favorite dive bar in the North Park area! Gus is the best bartender. Affordable beers with lots of games to play (3 pool tables, shuffleboard, hoop shot, skeeball, foosball, darts, and ping pong on the patio out back). They have Touch Tunes so you can request your own songs. Love the little porch out front in the summer.

AWESOME PLACE TO HAVE A DRINK! Good tunes from the moment you walk in. The staff is great and everyone here was having a good time and friendly environment. I had such a good time forget to take pictures of my drink. They also have games in here so bring coins, if you forget the bartenders can give you change.
