Fiji Yogurt

This place is actually deserving of 5 stars. I don't hand these out often! Here's why: walk in and check out the myriad of artwork on the wall. Allow yourself to be immersed in the jamming beats (MJ, R&B, indie rock, etc). Sweet couches and board games galore on the right, and creative yogurt flavors on the left! Last time I visited, I tried a very interesting flavor, called 'Tart Taro.' This is clearly the taro flavor, but put in the tart yogurt as opposed to the sweet/creamy yogurt. The result is a healthy, tangy yogurt with the perfect amount of taro flavor! Served that up in my cup next to the Reese's peanut butter yogurt, and threw in some fresh fruits on the taro (mango, kiwi, blueberries). Rocked some savory, chocolatey treats (cookie dough, butterfinger dust) on the pb yogurt. The end result was a wonderful explosion of flavors. I enjoyed this restaurant with my date - now my girlfriend - and we had a great time. Also must note that the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help you out. Thanks to their frequent customer card, I was able to get 10% off as well. Check this place out!

Great selection, great service, and great price. I happened upon Fiji during my trip to San Diego and I was greeted warmly by the young lady behind the counter. I'm not what one would call a novice to the froyo scene so I know a thing or two about quality accoutrements and ambience. Fiji delivers on both at a high level. I'm excited to go back tomorrow and the good lord willing, hit them up a final time before I head back out of town to the froyo desert of the Midwest.
