Tandoori Chef - La Jolla - Photo album

Good Indian food. Not very spicy or oily. Only street parking but far away for prime La Jolla area , so you should be able to find one . Good amount of seating and they have buffet for lunch. I went with my team once for buffet and it was reasonable with good amount of options. We typically order p
This place is great and has a great buffet. I have eaten at Indian places all over San Diego and this is one of the better ones. The only suggestion I would give is to have some rice pudding at the buffet instead of their mangoo moose. But to be fair, the mango moose they had in it's place was pr
Mushroom Masala and samosas were delish!!!
Fantastic food! The flavors were right on point. The chicken Tikka Masala was one of the best I have ever had and the spice balance was perfect. This has definitely become one of my favorite places to eat in La Jolla.
Incredible Indian food, right here in LJ. We've been all over the world, and even in London the Chicken Tikka did not compare to Tandoori Chef. I can only assume negative reviews are from their competitors - we order from here several times per week.
It is low key more like a cheap kafe but the food is acceptable. It is the only indian place coles to the beach in the area. So if you are into indian food or gluten free, dairy free diet, this is a decent option. The price was 13.99 for lumb-rice dishes.
Good service, kind staff, and great food! Had chicken tikka masala and it was everything I ever wanted. Plus the garlic naan is to die for! Fantastic authentic Indian food, give it a try!
Order take out there once a month or so. We always go back as the food is always consistently very good. Ordering the butter chicken and garlic naan is totally worth it!
Food is fresh and tastes homemade. Chili chicken very good, dal makahani was the best. Excellent chicken samosa, light flaky dough and filling was perfect.
Wonderful food and great prices. Me and my wife ordered food online at yelp's eat24 (rice, curry prawns and butter chicken), waited around 30 minutes and it got very delicious food plus we paid around $35 and ate it for 2 days :)
Decent, standard Indian place. Not too many flares but good food. Medium was a bit more spicy then we expected! Fair prices.
I can't believe how this place is so poorly rated for how amazing it is. I should have not listened to the reviews and gone much earlier, because this place is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the lamb Tikka masala.
