This place is a great location with quality food for a fast food joint. Everything I have gotten here has been good. No issues with my order, hot and fresh. The staff are nice while still having that beach vibe which is important since it's across the street from the ocean. Cheap good food by the beach. That's a yes on my book.
Sometimes I’ll get wild chunks of lettuce in my tacos, not shredded... if this location could step that up it would be 4stars

Cool handy taco shop. The huge chile relleno burrito was a 5/5. My wife had a fish taco that was a solid 4/5. Handy location. Very good red and green salas. Good prices. Want to try the breakfast burrito!

Bad customer service BUT GOOD Food!!! We are visiting La Joya and thought it was a good idea to eat Mexican. As I was ordering my food the lady taking our order was so rude... I ordered the same thing as the person before me... I asked her if the Chile Relleno came with Meat and she answered “ I just told the other lady that it doesn’t, right... but I am a separate order and I was not hearing the other person’s order” Sorry, she was so rude and It was just not a good experience.

We chose to eat here since we were in a rush and the places around were crowded. Anyways wasn’t aweful, but the meat and eggs were super dry in my breakfast burrito I had to use a lot of sauce to liven it up.

Got the Mexican burrito 🌯because it sounded fancy by turns out there’s no meat or really any flavoring😐. Lol the little sauces helped but I should’ve gotten something more tasty because my friends had more tasty items. But that’s okay. It was still huge and I love eggs🥚 and there were more than enough of those. It’s a tiny place. And they have nice frozen drinks!🥤

As a local, I love the location bc I can walk there, I tried giving this place a shot over and over -but their food is just awful. No flavor. Always dry. I’m surprised they’re surviving in La Jolla. I’ll drive to Don Bravos.
