Creative menu all based around the grilled cheese. I had the carnivore (which was more of a patty melt) and the pomme frites. They did a great job. Only 2 employees on duty when I came in with a party of 15. They where gracious for the business and worked hard to get our orders out fast. I definitely recommend this spot.

Really good place for grilled sandwiches in La Jolla. Definitely recommended if you are looking to feed hungry teenagers. Their fries are great. The sandwich with avocados as really tasty.

This was such a cute place. They had a about ten different grilled cheese sandwiches to choose from. I got one with goat cheese and bell peppers and some vinegar dressing which was super good. It's about $8-$10 per sandwich which isn't too bad. We were one of the only people in there when we ordered and then a few minutes later it picked up a little bit and most of the tables filled up, but I don't think anyone ever and to wait more than 10 minties for their food after they ordered and there was never a line to order so it was pretty fast.

Expensive for a grilled cheese but you get so so much more! Some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The macaroni grilled cheese is absolute cheese insanity.

Grater grilled cheese has lots of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. You can pretty much make anything you want from their huge selection of ingredients. The staff working there suggested awesome combos that didn't exist in the menu and were very attentive the entire time.

Wow I am shocked 😱that you can make a grilled cheese 🧀so amazing! And they have uber eats! Unbeatable! Got the avocado🥑 grilled cheese. Dang boiiiiiiiii so fantastic. And the bread was so perfectly soft. Man. Awesome. 🤤

This place was totally awesome! Food was delicious!! Friendly staff & a great place for "adult grilled cheese". (They have a kids menu, too) Soup was also fantastic and fries were perfectly crisp. I would definitely recommend you check Grater out.

Unless you were born an adult with no childhood, everyone loves a piece of bread and cheese grilled. Definitely a favorite spot for a rainy day or an overcast morning/night. The fries are great, and the sandwiches are picture perfect. I go with the B. A. T. usually and never finish my sandwich, they're pretty big!

Pretty decent. Like a competitior better for their tomato soup and overall grilled cheese. However giving 4 stars because their lobster French fries were amazing and they offer a good selection and salads!
