Good food, excellent service. We had only seafood dishes and they were all uniformly good. The lava cake dessert was yummy. The service was friendly and professional, although they seemed to leave you alone for just a tad bit longer than expected. The only odd thing was the lack of many other diners
I had the Crispy Karaage Calamari, Canoe for Two, Caesar Salad, Misoyaki Butterfish, and Kaffir Lemon Tart.
The Karaage Calamari was new, tasted good but really crispy.

Service is always good. No doubt about that. Very attentive but there's times where I would have to ask for our water to be filled.

I had to have my misoyaki butterfish. The La Jolla location is almost identical to the Hawaii locations (Hawaii is still best) in taste, quality and enjoyment. The food and drinks brings me back there. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are very good to excellent and great variety/selection. Worth

Fun to see this Hawaiian restaurant in La Jolla. Menu is similar with a focus on fresh/seasonal food and island seafood. Upscale decor, good wine list.
Julio is a really good Sous Chef. He did a fantastic job of prep for our group. Roy's offers the best in Hawaiian fusion food. You will not be sorry you tried it.
